They don't deserve it at all though. Their schedule was pretty easy this season and the don't have a conference championship game so I honestly think it should be someone else.
I think VT or Georgia are vastly better teams than Ohio State. Heck, I think Hawaii would have been a better option than OSU.
It doesn't matter though, I think LSU is going to rock them like Florida did last year.

Hawaii-Georgia and WVU-Oklahoma are gonna be fun ones. But I think LSU is going to dominate OSU, USC is gonna dominate Illinois, and VT won't have a problem with Kansas.

Basically all the BCS games are easy selections though even as intriguing as they are; Georgia, Oklahoma, USC, VT and LSU should all have a very large winning margin.

What a joke... Mizzou beat Illinois and Kansas and was #1 going into Saturday and they get left out of a BCS bowl for Illinois and Kansas.
Also, the Big-11, err Big-10 is going to be playing SC and LSU pretty much as close to home as you can get without being on campus.

eh all pish posh. they're are debates on whether the BCS system is right EVERY YEAR. come up with a different way to do it, THEN say something. some dude....i can't remember who...but he was talkin about a NCAA playoffs.
but of course there are gonna be disagreements....there was a poll and the ONLY 2 states who agreed with the BCS were Ohio and Louisianna LMAO.

There should be at least one more game after the big 4 bowl games.. To determine a champion. ALL undefeated teams should make it into the big 4 bowl games..
Any undefeated teams left after the big 4 bowl games should be in the extra NC game that is played.

Well, the only thing is, there is only one undefeated team this year - which is Hawaii.
I've talked to Disturbed about this on many occasions as we both seem to watch quite a bit of college football. The chances of a playoff system is very unlikely because of the money that bowl games bring in.
I think that the eight teams that play in the Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl and Rose Bowl basically advance to a playoff style finale after winning their game. So basically, eight teams are playing in the four bowl games. The four winners of the Bowl games then face off. The Rose Bowl winner vs the Orange Bowl winner, Fiesta Bowl winner vs the Sugar Bowl winner. Who ever wins that bracket advances to the National Championship game.
It only adds two extra games so it's not overwhelming and the sponsors and universities get their bowl games and the fans get a decent playoff system.
Another added bonus is that the team that plays for the National Championship game wouldn't have to wait something like two months just to play their game so they can stay fresh and not deteriorate.

You could also do host rounds, where the first round games are hosted by the higher seed, thus generating another sell out for that team.
