Virginia Tech has 0 shot at making the national title game...
Missouri has 1 game left, against Oklahoma...if they win, they're in. If Oklahoma wins, they may very well jump Virginia Tech, seeing as they both have the same record and they would have beaten the #1.
Ohio State and Kansas are done, and both being 1 loss teams, I doubt Va Tech jumps them.
If LSU wins the SEC Championship - beating Tennessee and Georgia - they'll jump in front of Va Tech. If Georgia wins the SEC Championship, they'll still be ahead of Va Tech.
Ugh... I'm so bummed we lost. We just lost at the wrong time of the year... had the Mizzou game been before they lost to Oklahoma, it could be us sitting at #1. It just sucks...

Actually it's not wrong...read it again, and you'll see that I was not talking about Ohio State's NC chances, I was talking about them having no games left to play.
Personally, I think it should be Hawaii and Mizzou (assuming they beat Oklahoma). Why? Well, it's not really their fault they had an easy schedule. They play in the WAC because most conferences don't want them in there conference due to the travel distances for a Hawaii home game. Then they can't get a lot of teams that want to play them at home and so they have to schedule weaker opponents. USC was going to play them, but they cancelled at the last minute basically.
With Hawaii's offense, I think they could easily beat just about every team in the top 25. Sure they could lose to each of them, but you just can put their offense to shame.
Also, I don't see a two loss team in the National Championship, so VaTech does have a chance. I hope they get in. Damn I hate West Virginia..I don't want them to get in.
Damn, I was hoping Tennessee would lose too. I wanted to see Georgia play for the SEC Championship. I think Disturbed has gotten me to start rooting for Georgia, heh.

West Virginia vs. Missouri would be a really fun game to watch actually. West Virginia is an explosive rushing attack while Mizzou is a spread shotgun passing offense. Two extremely different offensive teams going up against each other would be really cool to watch.

I hate West Virginia (I go to UCONN, so it's a huge basketball rivalry), so I'm actually kind of hoping Ohio State gets a chance to play them. I'm not an Ohio State fan by any means but I think they might be the only one that has a legitimate chance to slow down West Virginia's offense.
Their defense is great, so I think they can limit White and Slaton and their rushing attack will kill the the 3-3-5.
WVU and Missouri would be very exciting. Both very good offenses and I am sure there would be a lot of fireworks. You know that wont happen with OSU in the game.
