What u mean translation. Both Cal and LSU lost tonight in college football and they were the #1 and # 2 spots in the polls. Ohio State most likely will be number 1 with B.C. being #2 and South Florida being number 3. I am saying LETS say Ohio State loses a game before the chmapship game. Would they put B.C. or South Florida in hte game or but teams like LSU and USC in the champship game
USC isn't getting in the championship game unless A LOT of teams lose, and LSU may have a chance...USF probably won't end up there though. Ohio State is the most probable one to go though.

If Ohio State loses and USF and BC stay undefeated, I think they'll meet in the National Championship. But if they all lose at least once, I think it will be Pac-10 champ against SEC champ, as Nish said (provided both are 1 loss teams).
Well, I'm hoping that Boston College and South Florida get a shot at the National Championship, however, I'm not sure that it will actually happen.
If Ohio State doesn't lose, then I suspect it would be Ohio State and BC, as opposed to Ohio State and South Florida, just because BC didn't come completely out of no where.
If Ohio State loses, I imagine it would be LSU (if they remain undefeated) and BC. USC makes sense, if they win the Pac-10, but they just haven't been playing well in general. They barely beat Arizona last night, and we know that style points seem to count in the BCS rankings.
i dont think that a Big Ten team will be in it this year, i just have a feeling that Ohio State are gonna lose one or two games near the end, possibly even like the last two weeks
doesn't the conference the teams play in have a huge impact on if they can play for the Championship?

There are alot of teams still in the mix. In fact, I predict now, that no team will stay un beaten, and there will be two, 1 loss teams in the national championship game. Oklahoma being one of them. I don't think Ohio State will be there, cause they still have to play Michigan, and I don't care what ya say, Michigan and Mike Hart are hot right now, even though he hurt his ankle in the first half after already having over 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
I don't think USF, Kansas or Arizona State will be there either.
Teams that I think have a legitimate shot are Oregon, BC, Oklahoma West Virginia and LSU.
There are still 5+ weeks left in the season, and some teams have to play their conference championships(which is where Kansas is eliminated, if not prior).
I know OSU has a great defense, but I just cant see them going undefeated. In fact if they go into the mighigan game with no losses, I fully expect Michigan to pulloff the upset. Michigan has been playing well after dropping the first two games and they could pose a serious threat for the rest of the Big-10.
