This was a great game from start to finish. I was watchin it from when Alabama had a 31-14 lead and then out of no where Darren McFadden (who will be this years hiesman winner if he dosnt get urt) just carried this team on his shoulders. had 33 carrys for 199 and 2 rushing TD's.
Then when Arkansas took a 38-31 lead on the comeback, Alabama lead by QB John Parker Wilson came back down field and got stped on the 30 yard line. All the commentadors were saying how dumb it was to kick the field goal. When they made it they were down 38-34 and made a stop on defense. Then young John Parker Wilson made his way down the field again adn got a great TD pass with 8 secodns left to win the game for Alabama. ALl I know is Nick Sabon look like he did the right thing by switching back to college as he got Alabama 3-0 this year.
Yeah, though in my opinion, the zebras robbed Arkansas of that win by calling pass interference at the end there. It was a pretty bogus call, and to call it in such a critical situation such as that was very dumb move.
Not much you can do about it suppose, but I can't stand the fact that people are hailing Nick Sabon as a hero after what should have probably been a loss.
Though to be honest, I thought the Kentucky/Lousiville was actually better. Much more of a thriller that came down to the wire also. Plus that game is a huge rivalry.
I don't think McFadden will win the Heisman despite being the most talent played in the NCAA. I'm not sure if his team around him or his coaching staff will put him in the place to do so.
First off Arkansas shouldnt have been in that game so Alabama should ahve won it. they was up 31-14 and then gave up the elad and foguht back in a greta game prolly one of the best so far htis eyar for College football.
Second in real time that did look like a pass interference. But when you slow it down it really wanst.
Third the Akransas lost that game no one else. Had two chances to kill the clock and didnt. So the ref.'s didnt blow it the team. did.
Nick Sabon made the right choice coming back to college and I bet in a couple of season so will Bobby Petrino sicn ehe has no Mike Vick in Atlanta.
