He is one of SC's many running backs and was their top recruit this class. If you are watching the USC game turn it on just to watch this guy move and cut. If anyone has Reggie Bush moves it is him, by far.
Oh yeah he definately looks like he will be a special player. In that offense that doesn't really have a go to guy yet at WR or RB he could become that dynamic threat.
Oh and the USC defense just looks sick. That might be the fastest college defense I have ever seen. Of course they are playing against Idaho.
Haha, yeah. Disturbed and I were talking about McKnight not too long ago. He actually mentioned that McKnight reminded him of Reggie Bush.
The thing I think is different about McKnight is he seems a little bit bigger and maybe more powerful but with the same athleticism and speed of Bush. Scary.
Well, McKnight has a very similar running style to Bush, thus people compare him to Bush.
Not too many people compare Chaucey Washington to Reggie Bush after all..
Not sure if anyone watched the Cal/Tennessee game but they had a true freshman by the name of Jahvid Best, and let me tell you..that guy is fast. I think he won a gold medal for the fastest 100 meter dash in the country. Scary part is that he runs that fast in pads too. Reminds me of Barry Sanders type of speed.
I wonder how long it will be before people make comparisons to USC RBs being like other RBs than Bush.
This isnt just a look, a good USC RB, he must be Reggie Bush-like.
McKnight looks EXCATLY like Bush did his freshman year. The way he cuts back across the field, catches the ball, and stops and starts again will make you think you are watching Bush again.

Yeah, Best is going to be very good. Cal has a ton of talent this year, but im not sure how well they will defend teams after losing guys like Hughes, Bishop, Mebane, and Pimental. The scary thing is they have the best WR corps in the nation, but can also flaunt Justin Forsett and Best in the backfield.
Even with those losses on defense, they still did quite good against a really talented offense the other night. Cal held up fairly well against Tennessee.
If they can force teams to score 28 points or less they will likely dominate the opposition. The thing about Cal is they can air it out or run the ball extremely well. One thing about some other teams who score a lot, but don't play defense is they don't have that versatility.
Such as West Virginia. They can run it like nothing else, but their defense is questionable and they're not a great passing team, so once you make them one dimensional it becomes easy to win.
Get ready to see McKnight in prime time tonight... Carroll said McKnight will "see some action".

Ok, so they dont even need Joe McKnight, but he should terrorize Nebraska in garbage time.
He pretty much put SC in position to beat Arizona today. He was subbed in very late on a punt return in the 4th quarter and took it 40+ yards before being stopped. Then after an 83 yard Arizona punt, McKnight torched the Arizona defense with a 50+ yard run to set up the game clinching score.
