Cool My NCAA/Madden franchise bummer

I am new to the board so Id like to start by saying hi to everybody. I have every madden ever made and would be playing 06 if my dad wasn't hogging up the XBOX playing star wars:Knights of the old Republic 2. Anyways I am playing 05 on my PS2 instead. I figured Id start in NCAA. I created a school PM East Cardinals after my high school. I knew I had to simulate the first few seasons to get passed all of the # players. I replaced Clemson in the ACC. BIG MISTAKE. I had a 3-8 season and PME fired me!!! I took a job at Miami (OH). In season two Miami (OH) went 3-8 and I did not get fired. It was terrible. FIRED BY ME CREATED TEAM. I will simulate season 3, then I will create 5 prospects per year. I will also play all of the college games with this bum team. Hopefully I can get some of my created prospects to come to MIA OH. Then I will try to make them Heisman worthy. Then I will export draft classes into madden where I will draw a team out of a hat as to who I will start out with. Then I will give myself three years to win the big one. If I dont win the Super Bowl then I am "fired" and will take the worst team after that third year. If I win the Super Bowl before that third year I will have to takeover the best team that did not make the playoffs. I think this could be fun. What do you guys think???

sounds like it will be interesting.

I'm glad you are using puncuation marks, but do you mind like seperating them out by making paragraphs?

I'll be watching this thread. Good luck

Thanks. Glad to see some interest. Sure I'll separate my posts in the future.

As One said It should be very interesting. LOL getting fired by your created team after one year haha.

Do separate your posts otherwise noone will read a franchise that is set up like your intro one because itll make them go blind or crazy or both.

Good Luck

yeah this is good. I like taking crap schools and building them up.

I do almost the same in Madden. After I get bored with one team, I'll keep the franchise going, but take the worst team available and then try to build them up.....good luck with this.

Also, you know you can get Game Shark for PS2 and Action Replay for Xbox and be able to get the "Real" player names, correct?!?! Just letting you know if you didn't know.

Didnt read the post.

I tried I really did. But everytime I got to the second line, the fact that the post had no breaks in paragraphs really hurt my head and I couldnt read any further.

Didn't know if you knew this but, you can go into rosters before you start up your dynasty and hit the button that says Auto Name rosters. It is that easy and then you get all players named. They are fake names but names none the less.

Talking

No NCAA 2005 has no such option. I checked.
--------------- Madden 2007 Next Gen football ---------
In season 3 Miami (OH) went 3-8. I was fired for the second time in three years. I looked for a new job.
ALL ONE STAR PRESTIGE TEAMS

I decided upon Texas Tech Red Raiders

My first five prospects went as follows
1. Reggie Bush HB- committed to LSU
2. Vince Young QB- committed to Texas A&M
3. Matt Leinart QB- committed to Washington
4. DeAngelo Williams HB- commited to Memphis
5. AJ Hawk OLB- committed to Oklahoma

Sadly I could not get any created prospects to commit but Texas Tech does already have some good players:
1. QB Ricky Carson senior
2. HB Darius Samuels senior
3. CB Don Vinson freshman
4. RE Dan Cobbs senior

I am ready for season four with the Texas Tech Red Raiders!

They were the guys I created. If you read the original post it says that I will be creating five prospects each year now.

Week 2 marks the start

Week2 PM East at Texas Tech
Big game. Old created team comes to town. Texas Tech Running Back, Darius Samuels, was ON FIRE.

Texas Tech comes out of the gates passing and gets picked off in their first four drives. Two of the picks go back for TDs. PM East's defense was making the recievers and quarterback fumble!!!

At the end of the first half, PM East was on top 41-23. It was looking bad for TX Tech.

In the second half is where Darius Samuels really broke loose.

PM East started with the ball and rolled down the field for a FG (44-23).

TX Tech got the kickoff. First play of the drive was a 74 yd TD run by Samuels (44-30)

PM East goes 3 and out. They punt.

Next play TX Tech pass to Samuels for 35 yds
Next play Samuels is stuffed for -3 yds
Next play 27 yd TD run by Samuels (44-37)

PM East gets the ball and their HB fumbles and it is returned 19 yds for the score by RE Dan Cobbs (44-44).

Now PM East shows a sense of urgency but cannot convert on 3rd and 5 and they punt.

TX Tech gets the ball with 2:54 on the clock. QB Ricky Carson drops back and throws his 4th pick of the day!!! It is returned for a 33 yd TD (51-44).

With 2:43 on the clock TX Tech really got it done. Carson completes tiny patterns as TX Tech gets to PM East's 41 yd line.

With 0:43 on the clock Samuels takes a handoff in for a 13 yd TD run (51-51).

PM East gets the ball and hogs the clock. OVERTIME!!!

In the first OT both teams miss FGs over 40 yds

In the second OT both teams are picked off.

In the third OT PM East misses a 45 yd FG
TX Tech gets it. Samuels gets a couple first downs. Now its up to the kicker. Its a 26 yd attempt and its too easy (54-51).

TEXAS TECH WINS 54-51 in 3OT
--------------- Madden 2007 Next Gen football ---------
After byes in weeks 3 and 4 Texas Tech is immaculately prepared to face Virginia Tech.
TX Tech (1-0) vs. VA Tech (1-1)

To start the game VA Tech fumbles the kickoff. TROUBLE
Darius Samuels scores on just three runs to cap a 34 yd drive
TX Tech up 7-0

VA Tech was shut down the rest of the half only amounting 123 yds all half.

At halftime the 7-0 TX Tech lead stood.

TX Tech took the halftime kickoff 99 yds for the score.
TX Tech up 14-0

In the 4th quarter VA Tech got desperate and tried to go deep. They were picked off. The pick was returned 58 yds for the TD.

TEXAS TECH WINS 21-0!!!
