I started a RFTH with a QB and went to Florida. First game against Wyoming I went 18 - 54 for 254 yards 2 TD's and 5 INT's. The stats said I only had 6 drops but I could have counted at least 10.
No matter what play I called, their defense was in the correct allignment. If I called a running play, they stacked the box and stuffed me. If I called an I-form play action pass, they sent the corner on a blitz and sacked me. If I lined up in a single back set (picking a pass play) they'd come out in a cover 2. If I lined up in the same single back set (picking a running play) they'd come out in a 3-4 blitz package and stuff my run.
My running back had 33 carries for 41 yards and my QB was sacked 10 times.
I won 28 - 27 against WYOMING!
I don't mind games being close, and I don't mind the occasional "good show" by a lower rated team, but this was ridiculous.
I went into my second game against Louisiana Tech and my QB promtly throws back to back picks. At half time I was 2 - 22 with 4 yards passing, 2 picks, and 7 sacks.
I'm either doing something tremendously wrong or this game just plain stinks. I've never had this many problems with any version of NCAA before. I didn't have this many problems with last years "Drop Fest 2005".
I think I'm going to shelf it until Madden comes out and then sell it back to EB games.
Oh yeah, I was on all american with sliders bumped 60 - 40 in my favor with the exception of accuracy (set at 95) and WR Catching (set at 95 also).
Prior to this I had been playing on varsity and using default sliders.

With the passing, you have to know your routes. You have to know where the receiver will be when the ball reaches him not where he is when the ball is thrown. Another thing is that you may be telegraphing your passes or your receivers aren't composed. Even though you may be the home team, your receivers can lose their composure, especially in The Swamp.
Oh, it's not that I don't like it, I do... I'm just frustrated right now. I don't have the time to sit and figure out if it's something that I'm doing wrong or if it's something that's wrong with the game itself.
I've played game after game of 8:00 min quarters and when I get into the 4th and my QB is 12 - 40, that doesn't sit right with me. It's probably me, but frustration has gotten the best of me at this point and letting the game shelf for a while is probably a good thing.
i think you arent any good! I never had stats like that on any sport video game. WOW! 4 yards passing by half-time, with 2-22 comp. That is bad. You need to work on ur game.
Relax Jack!! It's probaly going to take him sometime to get used to. This is why he is asking us for help. I'd do what Cash said tkeok. Try out different sliders until u find the ones that work best for u. Also don't pass so much. They seem to be keying on that when u are playing. Mix up your plays a little.

I don't think you are very good at posting here... You are a bad poster. You need to work on your posting ability.

First off, an opinion cannot be wrong....its an OPINION
Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!
Timothy 2:12
It's not that I'm not good, it's that there are some flaws in the game. I'm not going to throw deep every other snap. I want to hit some button hooks and some quick slants and maybe a couple of outs or deep outs, except its virtually impossible to complete those passes.
I don't know if it was just a goof with that particular save, but my last game was much better. I was 20 - 35 for 245 yards with 2 tds and 1 int.
i experienced the same problems, but they didnt start until the midlle of my second season. Up to that point, I had pretty much molested all my opponets with Texas, but then I played Baylor and the game knew my play every time. I would try to PA, but theyd be blitzing, I'd run and they'd still blitz (all 11 guys), but when I tried a 3-5 step drop, there seemed to be 7 guys on every reciever. Just in the first half, it forced me to throw 5 BS picks, and go 4-18. Thats when I got pissed, and switched over to Madden.
