SIM League for NCAA 2006?

Is there a SIM league for NCAA 2006? I see that there's a Madden league, but I can't find a NCAA league. Am I blind?

Most people don't do NCAA Sim Leagues... for 1 most people do them on a computer.. and 2 the logistics of dealing with 119 teams would be insane

I hear ya. I saw one where they narrowed it down to like 20 or so B rated teams that people could pick from. Is there really not much interest in an Xbox NCAA sim league?

What's involved with running a league anyway? Just curious. I know you (Cash) run one for Madden, and from the posts I see, you do a stellar job.

I used to run one for Madden... I don't think there is much interest for a NCAA league though...

Whats involved depends on the league.... my league took a lot of work, but I let people listen to games live and even view them near the end of it..

Most people just do thier leagues on a computer and quick sim the games and export the numbers into a database, I ran mine on a xbox and put the numbers in manually after each game.

Cash is the shiznit when it came to the Madden Sim League. It was by far, hands down, THE ONLY league on the NET! We had our own website for everything you wanted to know about it. Game by Game break down of each performers performance! It was outsanding! Everything else plays 2nd fiddle to Cash.

As for NCAA, yeah! The Madden SIM league took alot of time and alot of work to do. To only narrow down to 20 team would be crazy and wouldn't make much sense, I think. It would seem that you'd play an UNMANAGED team alot and that's just not right. Plus, not everyone has an XBOX and action replay or PS2 and game shark, so they would only have #'s, where everything else would be names.

But I am glad you brought this up so we could talk about it, and it's great for search engines!

NFL is just easier, structure wise, plus its fun importing NCAA players and drafting them or atleast it was fun.

Hmmm...I see. So, if Cash isn't doing the Madden SIM league anymore, do you guys play somewhere else then? Is someone running another league for Madden 06? Or are you waiting until 360 rolls out?

The problem is...we have been spoilt by Cashs league. Once you know the taste of what a real league is run like...you cant go back on tash you may have accepted before....

So yeah. If I am to do another Sim League...It would be Cashs...So whenever he does the nest one...Ill be here.

next not nest...spoiled, not spoilt......hahaha

There is no other league other than Cash's. But yea what Titans said, this one spoils ya. I have never been apart of another one, and in all honesty, I DO NOT wanna be apart of another sim league.

Yes, once the 360 comes out, there will be talk of another SIM league starting up. But I am sure it all depends on the success of the series of Web Site and the job opening and if people want jobs take them, if it starts up again.

So, when Madden 06 comes out in about a week...are all you guys dropping NCAA and will start playing Madden?

Personally I like NCAA better than Madden, but that might be because I enjoy the college level football more. I'm getting the feeling that Madden dominates the gaming football world though.

If there is really a new SIM LEAGUE with a XBox360 console running the league, do we need a XBOX to participate too?

The only reason we play NCAA is to kind of have a connection with the draft classes in madden.. we see guys we played or played against and its cool...

The primary reason I play NCAA is so I can export the draft to Madden. I like taking a crappy team and building them up to be dominant. I don't actually play it so I can be good on Heisman.

The next league if and when it begins, will be ran on an xbox 360. Did you need an Xbox to be in the last league? I didn't think so

Well, what makes Madden so much more fun to play than NCAA? Is it that Fanchise Mode? Because, I mean...aren't the game play and graphics pretty much the same?

No the gameplay is not the same... in NCAA when you throw a ball even with the best quarterbacks it floats in the air.. in Madden it zips to the receiver... in NCAA on Heisman the receivers drop balls left and right.. In madden a dropped ball only happens on occasion if it actually hits the receiver in the hands.

To me the gameplay is WAY different.... add in that the NFL is my favorite sport and NCAA to me is just a Farm System for the big leagues where the BEST play.. and then the fact that in the NFL you can keep your players for more than 3 years.. I like the salary cap and trading and free agency and the DRAFT a lot more than trying to recruit people to come play for me.....

But ot each his own.. if you like NCAA more I have no problem with it.. I just LOVE the NFL
