Hey guys I got the game... i love it! everyones so much skinnier or less bulky, the stadiums look sweeter, but theres lots of stuff that i need to learn, and my guess is that im not the only one....or at least i hope not :-p
I've started this thread for little tidbits of advice that will go a long way to helping you adjust to the newest installment of NCAA Football. Please post some good pointers here for NCAA lovers. Thanks!
One thing that helps me- Since they've changed the juke on PS2, Sprinting cant be combined with juking anymore, so try not to hold in the sprint button all the time. (One more thing, specify which system you use before you give out a hint, because lots of people use Xbox from what i understand, but i use PS2) Also, I need some advice on when to use the back juke

I'm slowly but surely learning the new moves on the controller and it's so much better now. It's so much more realistic. I love the game so far, although it looks as if they intended to put some more features into it but took them out at the last minute (in practice, when you quit it tells you that all current progress would be lost... there's no where that it can be saved...)
The soundtrack could be a little better...
I also think that the Heisman feature offseason could have a little more depth to it.
Other than those two things, the game play rocks and everything else kicks *ss.
I have some trouble stopping impact running backs because they always break at least one tackle and juke another defender... how have you guys been dealing with them?

Not good; It's kind of ridiculous because as you said they'll break a minimum of one tackle and get a good 10 yards... but impact receivers make me frustrated. i mean im happy if i have one, because if they're in the zone you can just hot route them to a fly route and get 50 yards. overall i like the impact players thing but it gets unrealistic at times.
Play 5-2 if your having trouble against the run. And if your afraid they'll pass play 4-3 with some zone. Might not work if there impact players but its worth a try.
