Im a big fan of NCAA. I prefer it over Madden personally. These changes look good. What I am hoping for is better run defense. Even on Heisman level running is too easy.
Interceptions were too easy also on 2005. Just play in a zone defense and you get 4-5 picks every game.
Anyways, I like what Im seeing so far.
NCAA 2006.. DJ Shockley runs the wishbone for UGA (actually got that idea from the Bulldogs spring game. They ran several plays from the wishbone formation)

I've always been a Madden fan, but I just started playing NCAA and I really like it. The Dynasty mode is great, there are more teams, and I really like the recruiting options.
Do you know if they are going to retool the Recruiting options in the 2006 release?

Nevermind, I just read about the Pipelines, the offseason recruiting, and baout acedimic prestiege, which I think is a great additions.

I absolutely love all these changes they're making to NCAA 2006. I'll definitely be getting it for another year, I've been owning copies of it since around 1999 on the PSone.
Hopefully Madden 06 will incorporate as many positive changes this year as we're seeing with NCAA. I'm still a little skeptical on that though.

never been a big fan of NCAA but it's always been because of my bias towards Madden. Think this might be the year I open up and get both and give NCAA a try since it sounds like its really hot this year.

You should, one of my favorite things to do in Madden is play a few seasons of NCAA and then draft my college players in Madden |

The best thing, to me, is that in the NCAA game, you have to constantly build your team. In Madden, you can have 1 good draft and stay on top easily.
If you take a school in Texas, California or Florida, it's really easy and a good way to learn if you are just starting the game. Once you get your school to a 5 or 6 prestige, you get pretty much who you want.
In the long run, I think the turnover in players makes the NCAA game more challenging than Madden.

I love to take a team like Georgia Southern and build them into a national powerhouse. It takes several seasons to do this, but its more rewarding to me than taking over UGA and winning the national title almost every single season.
I love the look of NCAA 2006, I have owned every NCAA game and this one will be next on my list.
