energy sub in/out

Can someone help me out here...
I have tried setting my sub in/out at 80/85, 70/80, and other combinations. Does this feature even work?
I have a quarterback come back out onto the field at 65% energy when his capable backup is resting away on the bench still at 100% energy.
I even have my sub more to the max on the sub more/sub less screen.
Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

Well it works but the percentages may be broke cause my linebacker has subbed out before.. I will need to test this..

Hello, just like every video game out there it seems a trick is needed to use a special feature. The feature does work at whatever you change the energy sub in/out to, personally I use 70 out and 84 in. The trick is to not use hurry up offense and not to skip the after the play segment. In otherwords after you run for 12 yards up the middle, let your player celebrate on his own and let the game naturally take you back to the playcalling screen, don't skip the after the play stuff by pressing x (PS2). This way works for me.
