Cash, I was reading your post about Heisman and I tried setting mine there... at about halftime I realized "What the hell am I doing? I'm playing with Kansas! If I play at Heisman I'll never win a Big 12 game."

LOL well, you know, there are sliders... Heisman is hard but All-American is way to easy. I can beat USC with Duke on All-American. Goto heisman and start by putting all your sliders to 70% and all the computers sliders to 30% (except special teams) and then adjust them so that its a challenge/realistic.
You might want to run FG's in pracitice mode for a while to get used tot the kicking meter in Heisman.
Heisman is the mode for me, but then again this is what I do

Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!

Hahaha... yeah I play on All-American but kick the AI up a little bit... it seems to work pretty well so far. I'll probably be on Heisman soon...

Man I have to practice more... I stopped playing after 3 qtrs against Pitt (31-7 them). I'll finish my season in all-american then try playing heisman.
I am in my 5th year w/ oklahoma, i was simming the the seasons and playing occasionaly just to save the roster for madden when it comes out and my rb adrian peterson who ran for 2486 yards as a junior and won the heisman, was about to go to the draft and i talked him into stay for his senior year...BIG MISTAKE! he ran for 1500 yard was not even a heisman finalist and he graduated. I was upset because he didn't even go to the nfl league, the mutha had the nerve to just graduate!!! I just new he was gonna split time w/ Benson on the Bears in the fall..Oh well.......

He went to the pros, Only the underclass men say 'going pro' since AD was a Senior is says graduated but i gurantee he will be in your draft class
I'm playing a dynasty with Vanderbilt right now. I'm in Year 1. My current record is 5-1 (2-1 SEC). I have wins over Wake Forest (21-16), Arkansas (35-21), Mississippi (28-7), Richmond (49-14), and Middle Tennessee State (38-9). The lone loss was LSU (14-9). I have four created players (Juan Thomas, CB; Jeremie Mason, CB; Clay Green, HB; Chris Coach, QB). All of them have a rating of 83. I also used my high school coach, Curtis Coleman, as the coach and I run a run-oriented offense with emphasis on ball control.
Stats Through 6 Games
Chris Coach, QB:
Passing: 67-93; 637 yards; 5 TD 1 INT
Rushing: 50 carries, 313 yards; 2 TD
hmm thats cool....in my rfth my Running back...got over 4000 yds rushing and 51 TDs his sophomore year. We really did a number on Texas teams beating tech 74-24 and A&M 70-10. Travis Greenwood excels against teams with porr rushing defenses.

4000 yards and 51 TDs? Are you serious? I would love to play you online because I know you are one-dimensional.
Dang man, all you guys would SMOKE me. I play on Varsity level, and I still can't pass. I can run ok, typically 150 yards per game. Pretty sad really.
I tremble thinking of matching up against one of you online.
Personally, I don't think any of these cats would fare too good in an even spread online game. The sliders they use definitely cause disadvantages. Either that or playing on cupcake skill levels to pile up stats. But hey, that's just my opinion on that.
The key to a successful passing attack, in my opinion, is to first know your players. You have to familiarize yourself with the talent on your team and their abilities. Secondly, you have to know your opponent. The WR is always gonna burst down the field and burn the DB but don't ever count out that DB's speed because he'll close it quick and knock the ball away or pick it off. Last, pick a playbook that works for you. You don't necessarily have to use the Team Specific playbook. When playing NCAA or Madden, I take all of this into consideration and it works for me perfectly.
I love to run the football, but i dont do it so that its ridiculous..I've noticed that if you have a good or decent RB running is really easy. To me it just seems harder overall to defend teams. My runningback won the heisman his freshman year and i rubbed it into allllll the highschool football players faces because we all get the new NCAA games and i always win the matches every year. Im the king of the boonies in Pennsylvania, and I would just get psyched out on the internet.
My RB for OSU got 2,100 some yards and my QB just dominated as well, so i moved from All American to heisman. The only thing about heisman that really scares me is the kick meter. gotta practice more of that.
Believe or not with with rb (the second in a row to do )just won the heisman and bolted for the nfl. i turned by attention towards my option qb who was the front runner next for the award. He didn't disappoint either, he led from wire to wire. Being that he was a junior and i talked him into coming back for his senior year, i thought that this would be a good chance for me to try and win back to back heismans w/ the same player.
What i did was played the first game and simulated the rest of the season..In the first game my all american rb had like over 500 all purpose yards (rushing, catching, punt and kick returns) and 7 tds....i really didn't trip too much because my qb had 255 yards and i had change the coaching stragedy to 65% pass so that my qb could really get off....well because the rb had such a good start that he took over the top spot as the heisman fron runner. Him and my qb were 1-2 all season, occasionally flip flopping here and there. my qb had taken the lead in the last week...with his 4532 passing yards and 52 td vs my rb with over 3000 all purpose yards......
Ladies and Gentlemen the winner of this years heisman award is......

I did the runningback drill and i broke so many tackles i had an idea- why not make a fullback? how cool would that be for a FB to win the heisman? you'd have to be a little one dimensional...ok you'd have to be totally one dimensional but it would be cool. So i made a Bruno Wallace and shipped him off to Texas Longhorns
(hook em'!) and first game i played he fumbled so many times that every time i run the ball i have to stop sprinting and cover up the ball. i made him a giant, 280 6'4'' monster and hes pretty damn slow so its accurate. Make a fullback today and reap the benefits of fun and challenging RFTH mode!
