hit stick
Is it just me or does the hit stick in NCAA respond WAY slower than the one in Madden?

That's why I don't really use it... I never can get the hang of it so I just tackle other ways.

The only real times I use it is on a kickoff or accidentally when I'm coming off the line as a DE.

Yea game Informer confirmed this as a fact....its not just you cashpath the hit stick in Ncaa sucks and is almost impossible to use...I flick it and sometimes it doesnt even do it, very, very, very bad response.

I have noticed it does suck this year, and I think the reason it's ineffective so much is that the offense responds better to it, so with the hit stick, the defender just goes by the guy.
I have ahad a few big hits, but they've mainly been on my own guys, cause the "runner" seems to juke or spin 300 MPH right when I do it.

After playing a few games, I dont think the Hit Stick is all that bad. I mean Big hits dont happen on every tackle in real life. You might only see one or two a game if you are lucky. If you use the Hit Stick when you should really be able to get a big hit then it seems to work.
Like when coming at the QB from his back side or hitting a PR right after he catches the ball.

Yeah, I agree with all of you on that. I have had only a couple of big hits, and they were all accidents! I keep on hitting the "L2" button, I wish they would have just kept that the same personally.
