Summer Concerts?

Any of you plan on going to concerts this summer?

There are going to be some really solid concerts in my area this summer and I'm going to be lucky if I get more than one of them.

The ecomony is in the toilet so it will probably affect ticket sales as it's really hard to come up with the $40-$100+ per ticket, let alone the travel costs, party money, etc. There are at least 4 outdoor concerts coming to my area where the tickets start at $100:

KISS
Sir Paul McCartney
Bon Jovi
AC/DC

I wouldn't mind seeing all of these but the only one that jumps out at me it AC/DC. Their opening acts have not been announced yet, but I'm sure there will be some decent performers. The city they are playing in has had big outdoor concerts for a few years now and I've gone there for the Rolling Stones (w/Our Lady Peace, Maroon 5, Tragically Hip, etc) & The Eagles (w/John Fogerty, KT Tunstall, Sam Roberts, etc). There were over 80,000 people at the Stones show so I'm expecting a huge turnout for AC/DC.

So, have you guys been to any good concerts lately or do you plan on spending some of your hard earned money on any shows this Summer?

If I was going to go to one of those it would definitely be AC/DC..

I've never been to a concert.. guess i should go to one sometime..

Saving my money up for now, because I recently shelled out 40 pounds (about $68) to see Green Day at the O2 Arena in October It's only going to be my second concert ever (I saw Fall Out Boy at the O2 in March, probably one of the best nights of my life), and I'm so excited, the band have said that they are hoping to do a 4 hour set!

Me and my friends have decided that we are going to do one of the major festivals next summer, mainly because most of the big ones over here like Reading have some pretty **** lineups this year, and because next year we can all drive
