It's a tough list to make, I know mine took my 10 minutes.
Mine:
1.Talking All That Jazz- Stetasonic
2.Clint Eastwood- Gorillaz
3.Give It Up- Public Enemy
4.It Was a Good Day- Ice Cube
5.Mama Said Knock You Out- LL Cool J
Since your asking for 5 songs I will give you some of my very best :
1. Something gotten hold of my heart- Gene Pitney & Marc Almond. I really love this song.
2. Forever Young- Alphaville. Great song really.
3. Black Jesus- Everlast. Cool song...
4. Beleive in me- Lenny Kravitz. Best of Lennie...
5. Unchained Melody- Rightous Brothers. Can this song be topped ever??

I have nothing but good memories of playing for the Bills. It's something I cherish. When I was playing for the Pats, I'd wear a Bills T-shirt under my uniform. Someone came up to me one day and said, 'Fred, no matter what you wear on the outside, you,ll always be a Buffalo Bill on the inside.'
Wow, that's tough as it changes all the time..But Ill give it a go.
1. Rage Against The Machine - Take The Power Back
2. Thrice - To What End
3. Hot Water Music - Remedy
4. Skindred - Ratrace
5. Eleventeen - Come Clean
Though if you asked me tomorrow, I might give you a different list. I tried to think of songs I consistently would consider as one of my favourites..

of course Rage is not hiphop, but De La Rocha was supposed to have a solo project that Trent Reznor produced... the masters exist, I wish I had one..

I like the fact you have Rage and Technique on your list.
Yeah, De La Rocha's solo career didnt come to much, which obviously I am glad about..Cos its helped lead to the Rage reunification.
Bulls On Parade as the choice of best song of theirs? Its a wicked song, dont know why but I have never put it on the same level as Take The Power Back, Killing In The Name, Bombtrack, Know Your Enemy etc..
I considered putting some Immortal Technique on there, that's a good call. Though I would have likely chosen Dance With The Devil, or The Cause Of Death.

When I was canvassing for Ron Paul the Bulls On Parade song usually had me amped.
Dance with the Devil is an amazing song, as is most of Technique's stuff. Thats cool you like the Bin Laden song, I'm usually in a small minority when it comes to my perception of society and the political landscape; its nice to know there are others.

Well, I don't agree with everything the song says, but I do agree with a good amount of it.

Well I dont necessarily share the views, but I find it interesting, and makes for a good music base. In both Rage and Tech cases..Due to the sheer anger I suppose. And both artists take the anger and lyrically portray it really well.
I personally prefer Rage because of the riffs that acompany it, and I am more Metal/Punk orientated generally musically. But both are awesome..And I personally believe Immortal Technique is the best hip hop based artist out there..

Lol I was waiting for steelersfan list. It's all country ain't it?
I can hardly recognize Tri with that new avatar.
Oh you know its country all the way lol, actually I had a couple other songs that were not country going on the top 5 but they just did not make the cut, they would be on my top 10 though.
Jay-Z feat. Chris Martin - Beach Chair
Kanye West - All Falls Down
Outkast - Bombs Over Baghdad
Lupe Fiasco feat. Jill Scott - Daydreamin'
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Give It Away
3 of those songs are pretty damn sick I think Short. BOB and Give It Away especially, they are awesome (the other being All Falls Down which I think is pretty good, though Im not sure I like how its recorded). I remember BOB was my favourite song for a while a few years ago, quality track, on a quality Stankonia album.

Fake It? I like it too. They have some pretty decent tracks, Remedy, though killed by anyone who liked music with a guitar in is still a great song too...

wow...Top 5 songs huh? That's too difficul for me to do, so I will just make a list of artist that interest me!
In No Particular Order:
Absent Element
Chris Daughtry
Joe Diffie
Tracy Lawrence
Breaking Benjamin
Hootie & The Blowfish
112
Westlife
Cartel
Kenny Chesney
Intrigue
IV Xample
Dre Allen
Jackie Wilson
T Pain
Marc Nelson
Keith Martin
Keith Sweat
Alan Jackson
Boyz II Men
Metallica........and many many more!!!
Now for my TOP 5 Songs "RIGHT NOW"
Pages - 3 Doors Down
Sexiest Girl - Keith Sweat
Girl of my dreams - Keith Sweat
The Way I Are - Timbaland
Godonight Sweetheart - Joe Diffie
I'm pumped someone else knows Black Jesus by Everlast. I thought I was the only person that's heard that song.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
Rage Against the Machine - Maggie's Farm
Everlast - What It's Like
Trik Turner - Friends and Family
Foo Fighters - Learn to Fly
Breaking Benjamin - Breath
Incubus - Warning
I know I broke the rules and picked 6, but it's too damn hard. There's so much good music out there it's too hard to pick a list. Cash's Seether song is awesome, I saw them in concert and absolutely flipped when they started playing it. I also have some songs I've been obsessed with recently, but those ones are my all-time favorites.

I can't believe I missed this the first time around. I know it's off topic, but you're a Ron Paul supporter? That excites me, because I agree with his ideals as well, for the most part.

To get it back on track, I can't believe I left off Baby Don't Cry by 2PAC. That song is simply amazing.

Another Mac fan!! Never knew they were out there! I love both his CD's, Shell Shocked and WWIII. I think my favorite Mac song is Slow Ya Roll off of Shell Shocked!

Maggies Farm is your favourite Rage IS? Its a great track, I just dont think I have ever heard anyone pick it as their favourite Rage. If I was going with anything from the Renegades album it would be their version of In My Eyes, its such raw anger, you just have to love it.
3 and a bit weeks till I see them, cannot wait!
