Well I got Leeds Tickets to see Rage (My favourite band) and Im absolutely buzzing, cant wait. No-One I personally know has seen them (for obvious reasons) though saying that I remember Ripper saying he has. Anyway, I cant wait. Ive seen enough bands to theoretically last me a life time, but I have never looked forward to seeing anyone as much.

The same gig has Metallica, A7X, Slipknot, Tenacious D, Anti Flag, Serj Tankian, QOTSA etc playing. Gonna be immense.

I saw LP live...they put on a good show...they recorded the album with jay-z three days before i saw em here in jerz...nd they actually brought jay-z out on stage..it wus pretty sick

I bought Fall Out Boy's Live Album today ****Live In Phoneix. Nothin too special on it, exept they covered Micheal Jackson's Beat It with John Mayer on Guitar. I tell you, if you havn't heard the song yet, it is amazing (more so the studio version than the live), maybe my favourite song ever.

Is anyone here into Poison The Well type stuff? Ive started to get into it, but its not a genre I know too much about, so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Can't say I've heard of it Titans, but judging from a quick google I can't say that I would like it.

For me, I'd have to say my favourite artists are David Usher (not sure how many of you will have actually heard of him) and Five for Fighting. For some reason I like alot of 90's music (Vertical Horizon, and alot of those catchy one hit wonders) ... I think it's because I didn't really enjoy music until I was in high school (early 2000s) so I've been playing catch up.

Meaningful lyrics do alot for me (catchy beat helps too), and causes me to like many various artists/bands from different genres ... even some country, rap and hip hop/R&B. Though most songs I like would probably fall under alternative and whatever you call the genre Five for Fighting and Vertical Horizon fall under.

Hmmm. I'm a big music guy and I listen to quite a few genres of music. But, my favorite band of all time is a band called HURT. These guys are just amazing musicians (lead singer can play EVERY stringed instrument) and put on one hell of a live show. Check them out if you have some time. If you like alternative rock, they may be for you.

I read a review that called them the "Love child of Tool and Nirvana". I really don't get that from them, but I guess a lot of other people do.

Usher has a pretty distinct voice. His older stuff with Moist was rockin'...Push, Silver, Resurrection, Leave It Alone (luv that tune). The Moist tunes take me back to my high school days when they, with the Hip, were one of Canada's biggest groups. Actually, now I'm gonna have to download some of their tunes to my Zune when I get home. That Superman song by Five for Fighting is a classic.

i gotta zune too...its pretty sweet
but i got one when they first came out....i prefer them over ipods....they have better things on em...with bigger screens for the same price...and u get more memory too

HAHA. The wedding is off because she didn't get divorced from her ex-hubby in time. I have my tickets and WILL he gettin' my groove on this weekend!!!

I had a blast the last time Moncton had a huge concert like this. In 2005, I got to see the Rolling Stones, Maroon 5, The Tragically Hip and Our Lady Peace. The show drew about 75, 000 people, so I have a feeling that the Eagles will also pack em' in.

I camped in a friend's front yard for the Stones concert. He lives in an area with really heavy prostitution, so we spent hours before the concert watching dozons of random dudes hooking up with pros......eeeeew. It exists everywhere, but to see it so up close was a really weird experience.

Oh yeah, I also scored some tickets for a Who show in Hamilton, Ontario (Oct). I've always loved them and have yet to see them live, so I can't wait!!!
