As a HUGE Simpsons fan I was very happy with movie at the begging because it's the usual Simpsons storyline of nothing is happening. Then the plot kicked in and I was rather disappointed although I found it still entertaining. I won't go into detail but what did you all think of it?

I loved it. There wasn't enough of the secondary characters, but other than that I thought it was really good. (How did Cletus have the biggest role of the secondary characters?)

Weren't all secondary characters in it? Except Steven Hawking. Heck even Bumblebee man was in it. As far as Cletus I'm not sure either but his part was rather amusing.

Steven Hawking was a guest appearance, not a secondary character...
Patty and Selma
Principle Skinner (did absolutely nothing really)
Super Intendent Chalmers
Sideshow Bob (biggest one personally, I mean even Snake was in it)
What I mean is the whole movie (and sure, rightly so) was on the Simpson family, but apart from a few characters the rest only had brief glimpses.
Though I do agree, Cletus' parts (especially the first one) were pretty funny.

I don't know, Hawking had been in enough episodes I considered him a character. Skinner did do something though, can't remember what. I could have sworn Patty and Selma were in it. Yeah Chalmers and Sideshow Bob should have been in it. Especially with how much Sideshow Mel did.

I can honestly only remember the MENSA episode as far as Steven Hawking is concerned. Skinner had the "scene" at the start with Krabapple, but you barely even saw him.

I don't really watch the Simpsons, hardly ever on TV, but i did go see this in theaters with my girlfriend. I thought it was pretty good, though I have no idea who any of the characters you guys are talking about are. Personally, I only know the Simpsons themselves, no one else really.
My best friend is the biggest Simpsons fan I know... I'm pretty sure he's memorized every episode. I'm sure we'll go see it some time as long as we can find a new way to sneak into the theater...

Hahahaha, sorry I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but there's a part near the start of the movie that makes that very funny to me.

He also played a big role in the one where Ray Ramano was a roofer, and he was in the "maize maze" that Homer was stuck in for half the episode, also he was in an episode where they were discussing something in the town hall although I can't remember the details of that episode.
