Havent seen it yet. Probably end up not seeing it till it comes out on DVD.
Though compairing it to 300 doesnt help make me want to see it any more. I still have no desire to see 300. None of the trailers made me think "Oh that will be a good movie." Transformers Trailers have though.

I think the whole action, yelling, testosterone feel of 300 made me love it. Off of pure action I'd probably give a slight edge to Transformers, plus Megan Fox is so hot in that movie.

The special effects in the movie are insane. Everytime one of them would transform I was stunned at how much had to go into creating that animation, and it still looked very very good.
I hated 300. Hopefully when I see this it doesn't rank right behind 300 for me.

You must have not seen the same movie I did if you hated 300. I thought it was great.
I hear Transformers is but since Harry Potter is coming out i have to take my kids to see it so The robots in disguise will have to wiat for dvd release.
I actually like the Harry Potter series, the moveis keep getting better. I dont know how they are going to keep it at or under PG-13 with the way the story line develops in the next few books.
I saw Transformers the other night and it was serious ... I didnt' really want to see it and thought it was overhyped by all my boys wanted to go see it so we went and I was seriously impressed ....

All I've heard about this movie is good things... when I saw the previews I thought it would be stupid and corny but it sounds like it's actually really good. Problem is I never pay for movies, and if I'm going to sneak into the theater I'd rather see a few other ones first.

OK need an answer from those of you who have seen the movie....
Tigam and I are arguing this one. The Yellow car you see in the trailers is clearly not a VW Bug... Tigam is saying that is Bumble Bee and they just used a "cooler" looking car for him... I say its not because its not a Bug.
So those who have seen it... Is the Yellow car Bumble Bee? And what type of car is it? Besides Optimus Prime what other characters from the cartoon are in the movie?

Oh and the car is a Camaro (he starts out as an old '77? camaro then turns into the new 2009 Camaro)
Oh and if you want to know WHY???
Simple... GMC is a rich company who found a great way to advertise its upcoming NEW CAMARO.. Enough $$$ can do anything (including replacing a bug with a camaro )

Bumblebee was originally a bug? Wow. I cant see that but i thought transformers (and Harry Potter) were both good movies. Definatly worth seeing.

And if im not mistaken the Transformers are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jazz, Ironhide, and Ratchet. The Decepticons are Megatron, Starscreen, Barricade, Frenzy and Bonecrusher. Not sure who was or was not in the tv series.

yes Bumble Bee was the Camaro, and tri named the guys in the movie although in the TV series the decepticons were all different except for starscream. Magatron was a gun. Frenzy had another name forgot what it was. And all the rest were Jets.

Transformers was one of the better movies of the summer.
People always say this movie is cheasy. Some of the things they did were pretty dumb, the story line sucked.
You have to realize that this isnt an original movie. They had a storyline to work from, a style to keep, the cheasy humor and charcaters to to work from and keep.
If Bay and Spielberg completely changed Transformers into their own movie half the people wouldnt have gone to see it. Most of us watched the cartoons, movies, and some of us grew up on it. You cant change the humor/cheese in Transformers, just like you cant change Spierman's whit, or Peter Parker's dorkness.
