But if you can appreciate them, you probably dont HATE them...MAS said it was worst movie series...Im doubting he even appreciates it, or else he wouldnt say it was the worst movie series..

Maybe MAS went to the movie on a date and he only saw them because he knew he would get laid afterwards. Ya, that's it (go with me on this one MAS or let them think you are a dolt). I heard he was dating some uber-sexy hottie with an Elf fetish. He just went to the LOTR movies with her because he knew that she would get all worked up and put out after seeing Orlando Bloom in leotards for 3+ hours. He scored after watching each of them. He hated the movies but liked the result of watching them. Doing this makes him a genius. End of story
I didn't hate any LOTR flicks; I'm just not into them as much as some people. I saw all of them so that has to say something (hmm, then again I saw all of the Rocky movies). I watched them once and have no desire to ever see them again. I realize that thinking they were ok, and flat out calling them crap, are two different ballparks so I think I'm done here. Just making sure I'm not dumb. Carry on.
My point was that someone shouldn't post a movie was crap in a genre they don't like to begin with.
What movie along the lines of the LOTR movies was better? (With elves and dwarves and stuff)... Now see I like that stuff, and I will post that the movie Dungeons and Dragons SUCKED... it was HORRIBLE...
But to say a movie sucked because it's not a genre you like to me is just dumb... And to say it was the worse movie series ever... well that implies he watched them all... If they were THAT BAD why did he watch ALL 3 of them?
Now.. if he likes the Genre, those type of movies.. then I'de like him to tell me what movies of that type were better.

First off, an opinion cannot be wrong....its an OPINION
Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!

Like cash there are just too many movies I like (and I'm always watching more) in order for me to choose a favourite.
Mainly I really enjoy the sports and historical action genres...those come out and its just a matter of time before I watch them.....it's to the extent that I'll watch and even like (to an extent) movies that people don't feel were all that well done (*cough* Troy *cough*). In particular I love Gladiator, 300 and Kingdom of Heaven (just to name a few) as the ancient/medieval time period are a big side interest of mine...I'm a big fan of the pre-gun history/warfare (which is probably partly why I like LotR so much as well).
As far as LotR, I liked the movies...they weren't as good as the books (but then again, what movies are?). I have trouble watching the first one (in particular the start) multiple times but overall I really enjoy them.
I am also a big Star Wars fan. I love the original trilogy especially.
As I said there are many movies I like, so this is just cracking the surface.

Best action Flick IMO Kill Bill series. Hands down.
Best Drama Flick IMO Match Point. Aside from the fact that it had Scarlett Johanssen, I loved the story. It was deep and awesome.
Best Comedy Flick IMO is Rush Hour Series or Clue I can't make up my mind.
I was so happy that someone else loves Clue. I find that movie hilarious. It's awesome.
A close second/third in both the Comedy and Drama sections is Rodger Dodger. It's a small cult film filmed on a low budget that was awesome. The script is great as well as the acting. It's a little intellectual and deep. Everyone should check this one out.
Other movies I love:
Sin City
Happy Gilmore/Billy Madison
Dodgeball
The Last Samurai
300
Star Wars
There's definitely more but I can't think of them at the moment . . .
After re thinking this I would have to say my most favorite movie of all time is "Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band"...
I loved this movie growing up... It has all Beatles songs covered by alot of great stars... The BG's, Peter Framton, Aerosmith, Earth Wind and Fire, and others...
Many of you are too young to know anything about these people and I expect to get some kniocks on it...
It touches me even more that my Mom bought it for me on DVD just before she passed away...
Extremists are like slinkys... Ultimately useless in the grand scheme of things... But still brings a smile to the face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
Wow, thats a good "class" right there, 5 of my favourite movies!
