I don't see a lot of movies, but I've always been a Batman fan and my friend thinks he IS Batman, so I saw it at the 12 o clock premiere. I have to say, I loved it. The acting dominated, especially Heath Ledger as the Joker. I've never seen a villian as believable and entertaining on screen as he was. I really enjoyed the script, too. Anyone else seen it or have any comments?

I also went and saw the midnight release of Batman. It was very good to say the lease, in fact, soo good that I went back and saw it at 8 pm later that day.
Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar for his acting as the Joker.
this movie was GREAT.....Ledger was the best villian of all time and loved all the action....great movie and say go see it if you havnt...cant wait for the DVD now....
The movie was insane, and I really dont think words can describe just how well Ledger did playing the Joker. I really like the way Two Face looked in the movie as well.
Cash, I don't get hyped up about a lot of movies, but I did with this one...
It did not dissapoint at all.. and I too went to the Thursday night showing.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie, I'm planning on seeing it when I get back from Scotland. I never really was a fan of comic books or superheroes, but the superhero movies have been lately (Hulk, Batman, Superman, X-Men), they are usually quite high up on my favourites.
I agree, truly an excellent movie. Ledger was absolutely brilliant as the Joker too. A lot of times you hear people say 'such and such person MADE this movie'. To me, Heath Ledger's as the Joker made this movie.
Great flick, I might even try to see it again at an iMax theatre with some friends this weekend.
To me this was one of the best movies ever. The acting was top notch, the action scenes were great, and it was probably the most believable villain ever. Heath ledger is almost unrecognizeable, completely different voice and mannerisms than i've ever heard or seen out of him
Then I might as well be the first... Why couldn't they at least get a somewhat decent looking actress to play Rachel? Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart are amazing actors for being able to play her off as beautiful. Give them Oscar nominations just for that. It's not like the role required an amazing actress, or that she was even that good. I don't know which two-face was scarier, the real one or her.

That was a really cool scene. I really just wanted to watch the Joker the whole movie I could have cared less about Batman lol even though Christian Bale did a good job as Batman. Also Heath did a fantastic job on the Joker's laugh and voice oh man the movie is sooooo goood.

That's why I'm glad I went the day it came out. I knew it was going to be good, but when people hype it up the way it has been it creates unreal expectations. "The magic trick scene" isn't great. It's just funny and catches you off guard. This is definitely NOT the best movie of all time. I would say best of it's genre, but not the best ever.

The Dark Knight in my opinion is one of the best movie's of the past 5 years.
Heath def. will be nominated for countless awards,
and he does deserve it.

That just does not look like an authentic TR post for some reason. Doesn't sound like TR, with the "cos" and then its very confusing sounds like he already went but the says "Im hoping it wont let me down" which makes it seem like he didn't go yet.
And Batman is the coolest superhero, he is the only one who does it without any super powers. I'm sure someone is going to dig up some other no name comic book superhero that had no super powers, but I am talking like the top 10 superheros. Superman, Hulk, Spider-man, they all have super powers. Batman is just a guy with gadgets that chooses to fight the bad guys.

I too was a bit disappointed. The storyline was a bit flaky in my opinion. If it hadn't been for the Joker and his scenes then I would have considered it a flop. Still glad that I went to see it. It was entertaining and 10x better than Hancock.

hancock was a dumb movie...I dont know how you could enjoy that movie over batman?? Hancock only weakness is some white girl that if he falls in love for he becomes human...thats worst then Superman's weakness
