I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but I had a couple ideas.
1) Owner-picked offensive and defensive players of the week.
(My picks this week are David Carr (78% comp., 3 TD, perfect passer rating) and Al Harris (3 INT, 1 TD)
2) Some sort of draft tracker...where each team's first pick (or like in my case where that guy never plays or perhaps if it is an o-lineman) the player of their choice from the draft is recorded and their stats are compared to the others chosen. Sort of like a where are they now of all the players you thought of choosing with your first pick.
I would be willing to organize these things if need be, just wanted to get peoples opinions.

good ideas, they require programming to really be implemented though and programming is a no go with one hand.. will put them on the todo list once the cast comes off

First off, an opinion cannot be wrong....its an OPINION
Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!

I really like the idea of and owner voted POW, and maybe even a Rookie of the Week.
I'm not sure I understand your other idea.

Representing The D
Pistons- #1 seed in NBA playoffs- Lead Bucks 3-1
Red Wings- #1 seed in NHL playoffs- Lost in 1st round to Oilers
Tigers- 17-9, 1.5 GB
Lions- probably still suck
what he means is that say your in a predicament over which playert to take with your number 1 pick....in the draft, the guy you DIDNT chosse gets stat tracked so you see what you missed out on....its cool...correct me if im wrong tom...

By the second idea I meant the following...let's look at the previous draft and pretend the 49ers do not have the 1st, 2nd, or 4th picks but their first is the 9th and they intend to take a WR...now they have to choose, Craphonso? Edwards (who was chosen 10th)? Clayton (chosen 31st)?
My idea would show the stats of each player that was chosen with each teams partictular first pick (I'm not quite sure how it would work for people who a) had more than one first round pick and b) those who had none)
Or similarly say if your first pick was an offensive lineman whose stats aren't recorded or like in my case (first pick was a backup QB who will hopefully never see the field, second was a WR who will see much more time) they could choose a different player to have their stats displayed for.
Lastly, I had realized after I came up with the ideas that the draft pick one would be very easy to do using slight adjustments of the code already in place, etc. But I was originally just thinking the ideas could be done on the board and I would be happy to do it.
I like the idea of formal polls as well as an actual rookie of the week and would gladly volunteer to help out in them.
