All-Madden = insane
I bought Madden 08 the day it came out. Ive been playing ever since. I cannot believe how fast the CPU reacts to every pass play. Even on All-Pro i have like 100 picks. I dont know if im just bad or if its the same? what about you guys?

Hey I ahd the same problem. If you adjust the sliders it helps alittle. Like I adjusted them and I still had like a couple of 5 int games. Its crazy how fast they react to the ball. Like they always get under my player as soon as I throw the ball and I have no chance then

You can't force throws like you did in previous versions of Madden .... My issue wasn't with them picking my passes off but how they were doing it ...

Like when a LB somehow slides over 5ft to the right and picks me off, that's absurd or when a CB has his back turned and is following my WR on a fly route and then all of a sudden turns around to intercept a pass I'm throwing to my other WR who's running a drag route ... Well that's just dumb ...

I suggest lowering sliders or practicing alot more .... I started to manually take over my WR's before the catch to make sure they made a play at the ball before the Defense and it's helped reduce some INT's

Well, I'm still playing on All-Pro and I've put the sliders up a bit, and I've gotta say I haven't had too much trouble with interceptions. Maybe since you guys are using different systems? I'm not sure, I'm not having many more problems with interceptions than I did in last year's game.

Yeah... I don't mind one, MAYBE two, Deion Sanders in the NFL every year. But a whole team of them is annoying. SLIDERS!

I always throw picks when I first start out on a new Madden. This year is ridiculous though. Especially when the defender has a light bulb under him. They get that thing full and it doesn't matter what I do. it's either a pick or a fumble. What's the deal?

Heck I had a DT also pick off one of my guys and early in the game my cornerback who is DeAnglo hALL DROPPED one that was in his hands.

Oh I was playing last night and my WR Ted Guinn fumbled the ball and the defnese picked it up. I think it was Charles Tillman who picked it up but he broke though 3 O-Line, a QB, a RB, and 2 WR and scored a TD. Good thing I challenge it tho so it never happen but I will never forget that as I watched the replayy before I challenge it and counted the guys he just broke away from. It was crazy

Well the point of the "light bulb" defender is to be "smart" if you run the same plays enough times he has the option of knowing your play...so you're right it doesn't matter what you do, because he'll know. In that case, try varying up your plays a bit.

Ah, I see the problem now... on Xbox I don't think weapons play any sort of role really, so we don't run into that problem. Personally, though, I think the weapons thing makes the game too arcade-y.

I think GreatOne was refferring the replay within the challenge where he was watching it, possibly.

Well.. He said he replayed before he challenged. But then, I guess if he has auto replay on then that wouldn't count as him actually replaying it himself.

Wow. I didnt look at this forum for 1 day and I already have this many replys. I forgot to say i play xbox live and its alot easier to throw because the other person im playing doesnt pick the same plays as the computer. And also people playing online make mistakes and it can be huge for you. If you play the CPU, they make no mistakes. my buddy and i have a franchise setup so thats why I play the CPU

Ya I just started a new franchise cause I was getting and I changed up by going after great o-linemen which workl. I got Lenard Davis, and Logan Mankins as my Gaurds and Jamaal Brown who is a 94 at LT and its great to have them. Makes passing alittle easy now plus I got Kurt Warner who is the man

so I refused to change the sliders and threw some more picks but I'm getting better at pick the defense apart ... Just some throws you need to watch out for .... just because your guy LOOKS WIDE OPEN ... doesn't mean he is ....

look madden is so bad this year its rediculous. i rented madden because i was broke and i hated it so much im not buying it for the 360. but i have it for the pc and u guys do suck cause in the 4 games i did play on all madden i threw like 3 picks. the pc version kills the consol version
