Ok...so I have the PS3 Madden 09, and its hooked up via wireless network. The PS3 works with all games online except Madden 09. When I log in, it asks me update version, then it starts to download, until about 20%, then it freezes. I've tried everything......restarting the PS3, resetting the router, everything. Has anyone had this problem? Any advice? Please help!!!!
This problem happened to me when my family rented a shore house down the shore.. It would start to download the updates and get stuck at 5% every time. What I did was move the Ps3 to a different location, as the wireless signal was being blocked somewhere along the line.. Once I moved the Ps3 out from the cabinet and on to the floor it took maybe 5 seconds to download the update.
I also had the same problem. I tried it wirelessly and wired. Same result. Got to about 5% then had an error. So I unplugged the ps3 from my router and plugged it directly into the modem and it worked fine....
