Popularity??

Hey everybody. I hope alls quiet on the eastern front. I just bought the game thursday and am halfway through my first season, none of it simmed. I am a RB for the Bengals The superstar mode is really neat, but I am having trouble with one part. Most all ratings are good(marketability, appearence, etc.). Except for popularity it is just the slightest level of red. And it says at the bottom I am a disruption.
I admit, I kinda cheated and put him at starting back. I have a 88 rating and took out Johnson. I get 2 or 3 TDs a week with about 150-200 rush yards. Any help on gettting that rating up would be great. Thanks in advance.

First and foremost, welcome to the board, hope you stick around. Secondly, let me suggest cranking up the difficulty level, even if it just means toning down your run blocking/RB ability sliders. 200 yards per game and 3 TDs per game puts you on pace for 3200 yards rushing and 48 TDs. E. Popularity

Well, this is sort of self explanotory. Popularity is how well liked
you are by the fans. To avoid making your popularity score lower, you
should avoid running your mouth. Not coming through when you guarantee
wins will bring down your popularity. If your player is quiet and his
rating is still low you don't need to worry. Only a few rookies
drafted late become popular.

So basically, don't be cocky in interviews, don't complain about coaches, etc. Popularity comes with experience in the league I guess. It makes sense...perform and you will be popular with the fans. Hope this helped...

Not sure on this its just a shot in the dark, but did you go through and get his appearance up in the green as high as it will go?
