How does the Practice mode work? I'm playing as a WR, I did 50 reps with a passing play, having him involved on every play, and scoring more often than not. I got the points over 1000, then did the same with another passing play.
So after 100 reps and 2000 points, I called it quits. Checked my fansite and it gave me a D and said I only scored 1 point per play.. what gives? Does anyone know how to have a successful practice?
Dont know anything about Superstar Mode. I dont think you will get much from anyone around here until they have all had a chance to get into the whole superstar thing more.

yeah, but I figured it was worth a shot. Superstar was the first thing I got into. I find the instruction booklet severly lacking - but that's been more and more a problem as the years go by. Why include documentation when you can sell it as a "Guide" for $20?
I had the same problem but I found that the more zero and negative points the less your score I am a quarterback and if you just keep an eye on the points per play in the right corner you should be alright. I usually throw about two hundred yards with like 11 yards per
just finished 250 reps..3000 something points..12 avg yards.. My stats DID improve this time. I had the offense and defense both on random, and just took whatever plays they gave me and tried to make the most of it. I didn't always give the ball to my character, in fact a lot of them were running plays and I just went with it.
So it looks like it doesn't matter if your guy gets the ball or not, just play a bunch of reps and do what you can. My character's stats did improve... If someone knows an easier way, or exactly how it works, I'm still looking.. thanks!
All that matters when it comes to training camp is the number of yards per play. If you score over 10 yards per play you should get an A for the practice and a slight boost to some numbers for upcoming game.
I also figured out in only looks at the last play, not the entire day. Your stats reset when you pick a new play (unless you're on random). So even if you practice one play for a TD every time, when you switch plays and maybe get 5 yards, don't quit, because it will only register the 5 yard play..
You only need to do about 10 plays before you quit and you get about an average of 10 yards a play to get an A. You can stop at around 8 or so and get a small boost.

I don't think it matters. The "gameplan" they give you doesn't always work against the team you're playing. You're best designing your own and practice or not once you've learned the playbook you're not going to pull of the HB screen or the TE leak any easier with the practice before the game. Another stupid addition where they could have figured out how to include the custom playbook in all modes and add to the maximum play count in custom.

Ok, so we know how to get points from practice/training. So once that's done, I have problems doing the next event that day. I go to quit after my points are high, and then it's pretty much a day and there was a later planning or practice. Any help here?
