Yes, I hate it.. once I know the other team is about to go into 2 minute drill mode I go into a DIME knowing that they will be mostly passing.. But it seems like they just go into super mod in that 2 minute drill.. Unless I get a good sack or a turnover they usually score..

First off, an opinion cannot be wrong....its an OPINION
Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!
Timothy 2:12
yeah they always score on me when they go in hurry up i always just bring big blitzes and sometimes sack the qb or they throw a deep one and score but usually im beating by 2-3 tds so they can score and i just run the ball then take a couple of knees
does any one else struggle to defend against the hurry up. i mean they gain a 1st down a play what should you do? i play on all madden
I play against mostly human opponents that like to use this alot. I just try and make sure I match up(3wr's=nickle -4wr's-dime etc..)and go man to man mixing in a little bumbin run to slow things down. Also if it's the first half don't be affraid to call a time out cuz you can't carry them into the 2nd half anyway(this will fustrate your opponent for sure).
I can usually call the right audibles... audible to the opposite of the defense. I.E. defense in 4-3: audible to 4 or 5 wide receiver sets. Then, snap the ball before the defense has a chance to react.
To me audibles are very important if you are going to face an opponent who will go to the hurry up, I never play without audibles being set. Don't really do it too much on offense(cuz of hot routes/playmaker-there is no need) but on D that's a whole diffrent story...I'll give you one look and change it at the last minute just to cause confusion, it also allows me to match up with any formation....I use one 4-3 one-nickle one-dime (all man principal defenses) then mix in the blitz for the rest. The key is they all have to look the same cuz a smart opponent can learn your audibles after a few series and counter them.
The only time I usually audible is on punt situations (off/def)
On offense I'll have Max protect and max cover. I'll come out in max protect to fake em out and the aud to max cover (or vice verca.)
On defense I have Punt block and punt return middle. Like I'll come out of PR mid and aud over to punt block righ tbefore they snap it. This raises your chances of blocking a punt like 90%. Usually if my opponent starts catching on I'll switch it. Like I'll come out of punt block and aud over to PR. It raises my chances for a nice return asa well.
I always make sure I have a variety of audibles...Like a dime and a quarter coverage with man and zone assignments.... I try to blitz alittle to, and just hope I get a turnover... and I constantly mix up my coverages
I play by my strengths. For example, I have cornerbacks Aaron Glenn and Marcus Coleman in my Texan Franchise. Although Glenn is small, he is a great man-to-man defender. Coleman, on the other hand, can hold is own but is the more physical player. I tend to drift the safety toward his side of the field and occasional double his receiver.
In the hurry up, I go with the best possible package and stick to it. Once you approach the two minute mark, then you know that more than likely the CPU will go in no huddle mode. In this case, as soon as I am able to get a play in, I judge the distance to the endzone and choose a play from there. If the CPU has a long field to work with, then I more often than not put in a Quarter defense with a deep zone. But if there is a lot of time, then I may use a Quarter defense with man coverage. I don't like to blitz during the hurry up but if you have more defenders than offensive playmakers, then it shouldn't hurt.
Basically, it all depends on these things:
1. Time left on clock
2. Distance to the endzone
3. Offensive personnel package (if they start off with only 3 receivers, go no huddle, and audible a 4 or 5 receiver set, then know that the fourth and fifth receivers are going to be the HB, FB, or TEs... greatly reducing the effectiveness of those positions)
4. Defensive strength
5. Who you control
The only time I ever control a DB is if they are in a blatant zone and I memorize my area of coverage. You have to train yourself to let a man run by you once he exits your zone and trust that the next man will pick him up.
Basically, you do what you can with as much knowledge of your team without doing too much.

If 3 wideouts, dime corner blitz. Drop the LBs into deeper coverage, slide to the strong side. You'll either pick up the sack, knock it down, force the TO or the pressure will force the incomplete and you can put whatever you want in.
The key is they all have to look the same cuz a smart opponent can learn your audibles after a few series and counter them.
I think that applies to offense more than Defense, which you were talking about if I'm not mistaken. Becuase on offense I like to have two plays of the same formation that are completely different just so they dont' know how to cover if they audible.... On defense it gets harder becase if you audible and they know what kind of defense is coming (you can always audible and reverse it, or take control of someone and change it yourself) it doesn't mean their play will work since they picked the play before you audibled, which means they will audible to another offensive play which in turn means you can audible out of that and into something else..... It applies to Defense as well but moreso to offense.... I mean if you only have one running play in your I-Form audibles then it obvious where its going when you audible to it.

i have mostly pass defences in my audibles but a couple of corner blitzs really confuses the opposition
Same. Even though I don't play online, the cpu qb gets sacked a lot if: in a hurry up on the 1st play you call a deep zone, and on the 2nd play you audible to a corner blitz.
