anyone know who Vontez Duff is?

ok i asked on another forum so ill ask on this one...anyone know who he is?
hes gotta be on of the best DB's in the draft this year...and they have him ranked 37th???? wtf..some of these football analysts r idiots...its like when clinton portis came out and they said he was over rated and he wouldnt amount to anything but a fumble problem...pfffffffffft..u think they sayin that now?

If he is ranked 37th for DB's then he is obviously bad.

37th is not that bad, when you consider the talent in the draft (overall) this year.. you got hall, and gamble ahead of him as cb's...

Lets see... fred smoot was the 45th pick.. Mario edwards was a 6th round pick ( he sucks but he starts...) Dre Bly was the 40th pick... mckenzie (GB) was a late 3rd rounder... Dexter Jackson (last year super bowl MVP) was a mid 4th rounder.. Surtain was the 43rd pick Sumari rolle 45th

So the point is good corners can fall... NOT GREAT.. but good...

The draft is nothing more than an educated CRAP SHOOT anyway... and the combine hasn't even happened yet wait till then for rankings to mean anything

Vontez Duff is coming out of Notre Dame this year. Played CB and returned kicks. In 3 full seasons (not counting his freshmen year - 4 tackles, 1 INT), he totaled 94 Tackles, 7 INT's, 18 passes deflected, and averaged 25.5 yards per kickoff return and 10.3 on punt returns with 2 TD's. Also had a forced fumble this season, don't know about the rest.

Cash makes a good point about this. Ratings don't mean anything, especially when the scouting has barely even started.

I have him in my madden franchise, I drafted him in the 2nd round behind DeAngelo Hall CB for V.tech. He is a 76 ovr, 92 spd, he's pretty good I'd say in the game. He's a 93 ovr in Kick and punt returns.
