Disclaimer : Unlike most I don't blindly follow one console, nope I buy the best thing out, I've owned them all, and right now The best is the Xbox, I will own both the Xbox2 and the PS3. Just like I owned BOTH the ps2 and the Xbox then my ps2 broke and the xbox is leaps and bounds above the PS2 I didn't feel the need to replace the piece of crap PS2..

I never will get an XBOX Ive had a PS2 since the day its been out and since XBOX has never really had a strong XBOX only game catalog I dont see the point in spendin the money on a system for 2-3 games when all the games I want I can get on PS2. (Madden, NCAA, NASCAR, GTA etc.) I do however have the adapter for the XBOX cause my girlfriend has one but she hardly plays it anymore. She only got it for Halo 2 and thats something I cant understand, why pay for a system to get 1 game??? She has 1 game on XBOX and I have 12 games on PS2. :wtfm
ya xbox is the way better system but having siblings who want the ps2. You don't need a memory card for xbox, the graphics and picture are way better. Halo is a fun game but i am horrible at. Basically i like everything but the controller. I hate the black and white buttons.
hey cash, u luky u have both, but isnt it a pain to buy games for both, or do u jus decide some for ps2 and xbox, dam man u going to have both ps3 and xbo2, luky, ill be luky to get jus 1
Well my ps2 is broke... so thats mute.. I will buy the games I want for the xbox2 or ps3.. if the game is the same (madden for example) I will buy it for whatever console is better

ive played madden on the pc...but only own 2k2 and 2k4
at this point...im reduced to using my sons gamecube to stay up to date with 2k5
considering an xbox purchase in the near future
on yeah cash, well the PS2 looks cooler than the XBOX without being crazy.
j/k. I been playing XBOX alot at my friends house when we play Halo 2 Live and I'm planning on getting one as soon as I come back from Miami. for now all my money goes towards my vaca and getting drunk =)

I like the PS2 simply because I feel more comfortable with it. Like ill go and play an XBOX game and instead of me throwing a pass you will see me throwing it away, so that is basically why I like the PS2.

Just to throw in my two cents I think both systems have their aspects that are better than the other (xbox vs. ps2).
Xbox hands down has the better graphics and animation IMO. Ps2 has a wider range of games, free online play, and ea support (especially important to me because i play madden and other easport games more than any other title out). Ps2 also has L2 ans R2 buttons not found on the xbox. However, I must say being a big guy myself I do find the xbox controller fits my grip more snug, where as the ps2 controller i am used to but is a little small for my hands. Another great thing i noticed with the xbox was that at least for madden the ai seem better an with the ps2 making it a more chalanging opponent when playing the computer. It also seems to have a few minor options that ps2 madden doesn't have.....
