Anyone do what I do with in game penalties? Watch the replays to see exactly why they called it and become completly baffled? I keep getting the holding penalties that don't look anything like holding, the lineman(usally a lineman, sometimes a reciever)locks up with the defender and pushes him over then gets called for holding, has become a real drive killer for me, any other weird not penalties anyone gets a lot of(besides face masking which seems to get called after 30% of the tackles in the game)?
I agree.. They call holding for knocking people down and then when I'm trying to run away from a lineman I'm stuck to him... thats not holding.. But I turned holding and face mask down as they were called to much and turned other penalties up

Have the refs ever called offensive pass interference on you? They have never done that for me, and they have never called a false start on me either, even if I go with a hard count.
I put them up to. Its always the same penalties getting called, Holding and Facemask. I had to move the sliders so i can get Offsides, Encroachment, even Def Pass Interference is rare to see unless you aadjust the sliders.

I've goten called for throwing the ball away a few times while still in the tackle box.
me too, but not that much because i do not do it that much (throw it away). off pass interfearence is called a lot for me, as is def pass interfearence. face mask is way too much, as is holding.
I got called for roughing the passer on stupid stuff like i dived at the QB and his lineman got in the way but after the pass he moved and i fell on the QB who barely got touched anyway. I also got called for Intentional Grounding but their both were rare till i put the sliders on max.

Hey, we all know that it's always that controllers fault and not our own! Hehe
At least in the Gamecube, for the user controlled QB it is almost impossible to ever be called for an Intentional Grounding. To throw it out you have to push to buttons at the same time and the problem with that is one of the buttons is for pump fakes and when you try to throw it away the thing makes you pump fake first. It takes too much time and before you get it off you're sacked or lose the ball on a hard hit.

all though when my cousin is on my team he always i mean always get a roughing the kicker penalty and then i run it back and cant take the points or when ever i do run it back i get called for clipping or holding i hate it
Intentional Grounding is called on me, I don't know what's happening to you, but it's called right when it happens.
