In my opinion, if they were going to pick a defensive player (which I think they should as well), I think that Osi Umenyiora was the most dominant defensive player in the league last year; EA should pick him to be the cover athlete for Madden 09.

I dont think the running game really needs to be upgraded anymore they have done a lot with that or at least it seems that way to me. I do like the idea of something new coming in for the defensive side of the ball though.
