My friends and I have been playing Madden for more than 10 yrs now, and the controls have always been the same (or vary similar). Moving the speed boost or turbo button to the trigger was the worst thing the Madden creators have ever done. It made the next gen transition extremely hard. Please include in this new Madden a button config for classic Madden button config where the buttons are the same as they are on xbox...
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO THIS, IT IS THE ONLY REASON MY FRIENDS AND I DONT PLAY MADDEN ON 360. WE PLAY IT ON XBOX.
I'd have to agree with Pyro for the reason that in previous years (at least on PS2) all the other EA games, FIFA and NHL in particular use the trigger for speed burst. When playing one of those a bit and then playing Madden (or vice versa) can taking a little getting used to. The one part I did like about speed burst being one of the "main buttons" is that I find it easier to run with the QB with that setup.

And that's why I hate Next Gen. LOL. Actually, I don't hate it cause of it, I just can't get used to the different controls... Like X not being Sprint.

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
Yep...The bottom button should be sprint. Its the way of Madden...Ive got used to it for other games, but I dont wanna for Madden..Its just not right.

Well I'm too cheap to get a 360 at this point, so I don't have to deal with that yet. That WOULD explain why I did so badly in Madden on my friend's 360 though lol
