This feature needs to be added! This one action has won important playoff games throughout NFL history. Sure it might not be used too often, but with the game on the line, it can be very vital to the win. This one feature is a huge reason I buy the NCAA game and should be in the Madden version. You need to add this!
Itd be cool to have. But not a budget version, they would have to think it through properly and make it work. Not just you press B and it does it. I think it might have to start of as a designed play, as with the "Music City Miracle" for example..

Agreed the lateral should be back in the game, but Id also work on the casual toss plays as it seems very risky even to try a toss play because the ball hangs in the air for a really long time!
Yeah, they should make lateral like right + left trigger...something not easily pressed. Its fun, I remember on 2K you could do it. It was risky and I didn't like to use it but it was fun and important to try sometimes.
I think it's a great idea and would love to see this in Madden. Can't tell you how many times I've wished I could lateral the ball to someone faster after intercepting it with a linebacker.
Would be nice/fun to have if you absolutely need a score with almost no time on the clock and a ton of distance to go, you could attempt to keep on lateraling the ball to another player. Kind of like the Jets tried to do earlier in the season.
Special teams would be useful to use this on as well, as someone mentioned the Titans/Bills game where it saved them.
