I don't know if this has even been a problem for some people, and I am sure it is a minor fix.. but when your negotiating money in the Free Agency you have to sit and hold the up or down button untill you get to a desired amount.. sometimes it's like 4 million more. It should go ones for like 2 seconds of holding, or you can click to get a desired amount, if you hold it longer than 10 seconds then it goes to like 10's, then if you hold it longer than 5 seconds it goes 100's or even thousands. It would definitately be a better scenario and help get the player you want in less time.
OR...
make it be a number chooser, sorta like how you can choose the name of the player you create, just replace the alphabet with numbers.
the only extra thing other than the wishlist that this game needs is better control over the players. like not just pressin a command and hopin the game wont screw u over,like 2007 on defense when u couldnt go for a pic like 90% of the time, i returned my game just cuz of that alone it was so frustratin and also the deep pass in 2007 was almost imposible to defend against that people would just get a low rated team and just pass deep all the time.
1 - in franchise mode, trades should be able to involve future draft picks as well as current year's picks.
2 - maybe get ncaa and madden a little more similar to each other...i might be selfish on this one but i'm just tired of my friends that wont play me on madden because they claim that they can only play ncaa. so then it just looks that much worse for them when i beat them at the game they claim to be better at anyway

another thought..... a receiver or running back wit the ball should not be invincible in the air. like in the middle of breaking a tackle he should be able to get hit by another guy. its really frustratin not bein able to hit a guy while he tryin to loose one of my guys. and work on the connection glitches for online play, that alone made the game horrible, cuz nothins worse than playin a good game and ur about to win and ur opponent disconnects and u get a loss.
id like to see the right pictures for all the players and id like to see them put the long snappers in the franchise. i would also like to have retired numbers option too. those are just little tidbit things so ya know...
couple of little things i think might help and make madden more realistic are:
1. have couple new ratings like consistency or leadership
leadership-would be like on QB in the 4th quarter and ur down and going on a drive it boosts your teammates stats up a little including yours, and if you have low leadership then it would lower your teamates including yours a little bit, or for a line backer on defense if you need to make a stop it would raise you an your teamates stats up a lil bit
Consistency- would be for pretty much for every position because in the nfl theres lotts of inconsistent players who are great some game and horrible half the games.
2.for recievers have a rating of route running
Route running- would make your recievers who arent great recievers or arent polished like ted ginn. jr not run perfect routes all the time, this would help on def. keep the score a little lower so people dont average 60 points a game and make madden more realistic
3.And for Qb have velocity rating or different name idk
Velocity-how fast the ball gets to reciver
NOT ARMSTRENGTH where how far he can throw but how fast the ball goes when he throws i think this would make for better play and make you able to sqeeze passes into tight windows and make it more realistic
First of all I happen to be a big Madden fan. The games are already awesome enough, but there are a few changes that you all can try out. One is that when a runningback is dragging the defensive person, another defensive person should be able to come and help out his teammate and drop the back right then and there. Also, it's not very reasonable to only workout with three players during a week while in franchise mode. There should be more interceptions during a game, for there are many times that the ball lands right in the hands of the defender and he simply drops it. I know that this one is hard to establish sometimes, but there are many glitches in the game. Ive seen hands go completely through helmets, and other circustances of glitches are made evident. And the last thing, it would be nice to be able to save instant replays. Thanks a lot.

okay there should be more than 3 different types of highlight sticks.... one handed catches...being able to lift weights in the off season... sorta like a ncaa impact mode/gamebreaker type thing you can use that would show really cool camera angles and nice jukes, stiff arms, lowered shoulders, endzone dives all in slow motion.... better gang tackles.... ankle breaking jukes.... and you should be able to have one of those miracle plays where your runningback gets caught in a gang of 5 defenders but somehow gets out and breaks for 6, and thats all the things that need help in the new game
I have the 360 version of madden 07 and here is what i think they need to add and improve on.
- The players don't move as smoothly as in 05 or as quickly. They move like robots and it isn't even close to looking natural
- The juke stinks. definition of a juke is fake one way and go the other, not just cut right.
- Let me edit how the players look.
- If I wish to creat a player and make him 99 rating in everything then let me, don't make me work out the player, it's dumb
- I miss in franchise mode being able to hire my HC, OC, and DC, creating my stadium.
- A pre- game show, halftime show and post game show. or atleast a half time and post game wrap-up with highlights of all games that week.
- Why did you guys change the button configuration after 4 years, that was dumb
- More defensive line moves would be nice and also when you hit the spin button have them move to the side you want them to spin and not just spin flat on their face. When you hit the swim move make it look real, instead of them waving their arms like spazzs,
- More realistic tackles, ex. hits in the air (when reciever is jumping and catches the ball), more ferocious hits when the hit stick is used, gang tackles and dual tackles (like if my linebacker is losing the running back have the strong safety finish him off with a big hit) Also a player with a 60 something rating in tackling should not be able to hit like a jackhammer.
- Better ratings on drafted players, especially later round players. Make diamonds in the rough ie. Colston from the saints.
-When a player has an all-star year, rate him like it the following season. I am sick of have a 79 rookie running back get 2000 yds and only being rated an 84 the next season.
- I like the idea of a "potential rating" but to add to that have a "bust rating" too.
- Have who you have as a Coach and asst coaches have an effect on how your team plays. Bad coaches bad results
- For God sakes how about a dive over the top running plays for short yardage and goaline please.
- your current gen announcer is horrible and should be taken out back and well you get the picture
- When you create your own defensive formations please let me be able to place the player in a gap or over a specific player (ie the DT in the guard center gap or my linebacker over the guard or TE)
- What ever happened to boot leg passes or putting in the option spread from the shotgun that Vince Young uses. Or incorporating fake hand offs and then handing it off to another back ie fake to the fullback and then hand it to the tailback
- More realistic match ups like if I have a 250lbs LB blitzing or If i have a 285 -300lbs defensive lineman breakthrough, a 200lbs RB might only slow him down not stone wall him. And 185-200lbs corner is probably not gonna stop a 220-250 pound RB or TE much less level him. If they do stop them, they cut them at the knees. This is like alot of running backs on 07 running over Urlacher because they use the truck stick. C'mon give me a break
-What is the point of the Y button if you have the truck stick? When I played football cover up the ball with both arms and lowering head was trucking. So what is the point of two buttons for the same action
- When I throw a sideline flat route and my runningback or reciever run out of bounds automatically again i am going to throw my controller through my plasma TV.
-I miss the stadium stuff in franchise mode from the other maddens.

Superstar made needs some help. I hate the camera view of your superstar. the view definatly needs to be changed. Also you should call the plays in superstar mode not the coach.

yeah i forgot about that reicevers should be able to get there legs taken out when they jump for a catch
I think there should be a online season mode where 32 players get there teams and are required to play once a week it does not matter what day but once a week they play the required team
Superstar mode should be easier to choose you parents careers...it shouldn't have to take so long...You should be able to be a QB w/ your father in the military and mother whatever....
I think they should fix the franchise mode, or bring back the owner mode so you can create your own team and stadium. nothing better then starting your franchise with a bunch of cupcakes and free agents.
the things they need to change is how come in NBA live there are other selections for shoes that can be worn but madden doesnt have such a luxury? And is it me or are their socks too high? i kno those are little things but its stuff like that that makes the game a little better
and when you pass to the running back in the flats he always seems to be out of bounds?
also there are too many times when a defensive player of mine has a chance to intercept a pass and he cant catch it?
in season mode, it seems like some players dont even get a chance to play. for example, Jay Cutler is the franchise quarterback of the future and in the off season they end up drafting another QB or signing one that is better which gives them no chance.
That would be awsome. Robert Curry from the Raiders was a QB converted WR as well. I think that would be great for Madden and you should be able to switch anybody to any position you want (like the older games) which they took out. I can't put a kicker as QB if I want to. Stuff like that was fun lol.
I thought that was so cheap and not an advantage to the game.... people would never change a position all game and then all of a sudden bam the tight end is the fastest reciever and u lose the game over not seeing it in time and making an adjustment. Besides....they would never line a burner at Tight end so I think not only is it cheap, but most of all unrealistic to do that.

A good example is Greg Ellis, starting RE on the Cowboys who was moved to SOLB in the 06 season. A simple edit (which has been put in I think....??) would fix that.

yes or antwaan randle el you should be able to make him your QB but EA should put a limit on it at 1 -2 times per game or only allow him to play if big ben, and all the other backup qb's get injured in a franchise mode he would be the emergency QB. They need to implement that so its realistic tho...not anybody can play anywhere...only if they did it in the actual game.
I think u should get the chance in franchise mode to send some of your younger, not so talented players off to nfl europa at the end of the season (say perhaps 1 player to each team). You should then have the option 2 play out the NFL Europa season personally, chose a team which one of ur players is on and play the Europa season. That way they can progress and become more useful to you in the regular NFL season. However whether you want to play the Europa season should be optional. Also the players eligible should be restricted to 3-year pros or players under a certain rating e.g.78. That way you can have more 6th rounders in the franchise mode for other teams rather than everyone having solely first rounders which can get kinda boring.
in franchise modes everey single year at the draft the only position good is DE where 9/10 top ten players are DE
and ive only seen a wr in the 1st round they always seem to be 3-5round
and ive never seen a DT past 4th round
ive played 8years on my franchize and this happend everey year
o ya theres usually 1fs or QB in the top 10 and the free safteys tht areexpected to go to top ten drop to me with the 32nd pick an i draft em an they in low 70's

another thing that needs to be fixed is the retirement stage every years players retire where they usually wouldnt an they be liike 32-34 years old......
atleast let u try to talk them out of retirements....make it so theyre thinking of retiting unless u give them a good deal..
