Guys you have some good ideas, but noone is going to read yoru posts if you dont you paragraphs. If they see a 47 line post with absolutely no spacing....it will be ignored.

Not sure if this has ever been mentioned but I would like to see an offense set where you can go hurry up and select plays on the fly other than just what your audibles are set up as.

Another few wishes...

1. Bring back Owner mode with all the ticket prices and advertising and be able to turn it off if people don't want to use it.

2. Bring back Madden's commentary.

3. Change the camera angle in Superstar mode so you can actually see where your blockers/tacklers are coming from.

4. Have Wembley Stadium in the UK available to choose to play a game in.

5. Change the format of in-game presentation, so that people who don't have 20/20 eyesight or better can read it without squinting or running up to the TV occassionally (and I have a 42" plasma and ok eyes!).

6. Have the songs saved on your hard drive played in the stadium between plays, rather than the generic madden soundtrack.

That's it, not too much to ask!

...forgot to mention the ability to do substitutions i.e. certain players in certain formations at certain times. Pretty much like it used to be in '07.

1. they need to make franchise more...."realistic"....with nfl europe, practice squad, ewtra people in preason.

2. I'm tired of running 4 yds ahead of someone, them jumping and somehow going from the ground to being latched onto me!

3. superstar mode sux...they need to hhave offeild things, and have YOU decide wether to endorse things and do commercials!

4. let you be drafted before the 3-4 round in superstar

5.get in fights with people on the field and spit in peoples face and stuff (TO, and Deangello Hall)

6. be able to "fight for the ball" when there is a fumble, with pile ups and wut not

7. BETTER COMMENTARY!!!!!

Here's a think that I don't think has been mentioned... make a larger limit on the amount of letters you can use to name a team you have moved. I don't know off hand what the amount is, but I can tell you that I was unable to use these team names because of lack of space:

Marauders
Rocket Men
Rocketeers

I used to be able to use these names, but for some reason EA changed the space you can use for a team name. Maybe it has to do with the lettering on the field. What ever it is, please change that back.

Hi, New to the board, but not madden. As great as a game it is, there is one thing (well a couple of things) but one thing i would most like to see:

On ONLINE PLAY: i would love to see a section where you could play people who are using teams in your division. ie: i always use the steelers, (im from pittsburgh) let there be a section where i can play the ravens, bengals, or browns( okay leave the browns out haha). As it stands now, everyone wants to use the colts, patriots, eagles etc. and its rare to get a game going with a divisional oponent.


Also for those that like to quit, or jiggle the wire or do whatever to get out of a game when there loosing, how about a suspension of game play after so many times. say if you quit x amount of times in x amount of online time then you cant play online for x amount of time. Its so frustrating to play someone and they quit. If i wanted to play the cpu i wouldnt go online haha

umm.. The Draft needs improvement have the commisoner annonce the picks and show the players walking up and holding there jersey....

When a player moral is down have the option to bring him into your office to discuss it with him...have set things you can say to him and have him react differenly to every thing....

Have a cut scene when you resign a player have him come in and shake your coaches hand and stuff like that.....

Also i would like,

Gang Tackling,I would love a difficulty between all pro and all madden just like the others...more injurys to players on user controlled team..this year i had like none.....


Thats about it of course you would have to have the option to skip through all the cut scenes and such but there would be those types of people like me who would love that kinda stuff

I love the idea you have for madden 2008 i also will like to see all this in madden good job.

OK, now for the past few years Madden has had the year of the Defense 05' with the Hit Stick and indiviual hot routes On Defense. In 06' it was the year of the QB with the Vision and Percision and the addition of the Truck stick for RB's. In 07' we had the of the Lineman with the blocker control and the new highlight stick.......What I'm trying to get at is for MADDEN 08' it's only right to make it the year for the WR. I'm sick and tired of not being able to control my WR feet when i make a great user catch, i mean they need to make a button to drag the WR feet after a great catch to keep those feet inbounds.

First, let me start buy saying....I'm a hardcore 2K Series fan. I was pissed beyond pissed when Madden baught exclussive rights to NFL, I thought it was a cowardly monopoly strategy.

That aside, I started playing Madden for 360 because...well honestly 2K5 just wasn't cutting it anymore.

I baught Madden '06 for 360 and was disgusted, not the best way to step off into Madden at all. I followed up with '07. Not to bad. I think its pretty good actually.

Reading what you guys have said, I read through all the posts and all the ideas are great. You pretty much cover everything there is to cover that should be added. You guys with higher hopes have to think of game size though. If you throw in ALL those graphics and ****, guess what happens? You lose gameplay. Disc is only so big.

Ok, onto my suggestions that I'm really looking hoping happen:

1) Fantasy Drafts! Jesus man, I cannot STAND not being able to do Fantasy. When you play your friend all the time with every team, it gets old. BRING BACK FANTASY DRAFTS!

2) Team Tackle. I know its there for you Playstation people, but it left us 360 users out. Please, bring that back.

3) Ball Stripping. When you gang tackle, someone is bound to get their hands in there and try pulling it. Make it possible EA.

4) SIZE. Like you guys said, 190 CB NAILING a Mike Alstott and sending him backwards doesn't happen often. Agreeing with that one dude though, I'm a 120lb guy who played some football. I've leaved people who played college football. NAILED. Like he said though, it hurt me like hell. Make the whole big to small thing more realistic, shouldn't happen every hit.

5) Hitting when they catch. I hate that you can't cream the retard who ALWAYS throws the ball across the middle. Throw it 2x in the middle of Ray Lewis and see if you do it again in real life. You should be able to nail them when they catch or as they touch it but you can't.

6) Boothe Reviews BLOW. So so so many times I have been ripped of games because they call a TD when he was completely out of bounds.

7) ALL-MADDEN? More like super human. Like you guys have said, you can't catch them. They all become Randy Moss WR's, Payton Manning QB's and Ed Reed FS's. Not cool.

8) End of half/game. Stop the flawless crap. At the end of the half or the game, they go 15/15 lol. You can't stop a pass and you can't take the RB down.

This covers my major issues. Moving onto what you guys said though, I really really hope they implement a lot of those as well. These are just my major desires. Create a team would be nice too.

I hate making a great user catch and my WR only gets one foot inbounds when he could have for sure put both feet in to complete the catch. They need to make a button to drag the WR feet after a great catch to keep those feet inbounds. They should also make another button for diving catches or 1 hand catches.

Just An Idea......

I play madden on Xbox 360 and I paid a little more because of it. It is not cool that I have less of a game. There should be a create a playbook on Xbox 360, and it should even be used in franchise mode. Improved blocking schemes in the playbook would also make the game better.

If I want to run a zone blocking scheme and I dont want to touch the DE on the backside I shouldnt have to. I would like to be able to reach-block or combo-block certain players. If the defense is in a base 3-4 and I only need 3 yards I should be able to combo-block the nose-tackle with the center and guard, cut the MLB the is first to the hole with the full back, and get tackled by one of the pursuing untouched LBs somewhere around 3 yards down the field.

This is how it is run in the pros, in college, and in high school. Can we please put it in the game.

couple of things I would like to see changed.

First, in Franchise mode, I play a 3-4 defense and for some reason my 2nd DT gets a start experience and not the 2nd MLB. Similarily, I run a 3 WR set and the FB gets the start and not the 3rd WR even though I start the game with the above formations.

When playing in Franchise mode, some players especially Vince Young can have very negative stats ie: have a passer rating of 40 with more int than TD and STILL progress in overall number.

I would like to see more Team specific play books for the 3-4. Offensively each team has a different playbook and most 4-3 teams change playbooks as well. The teams that inplement the 3-4 all use the same playbook. WHY? With more and more teams usign the 3-4 defense these days it would be nice to see a different D from Dallas, PITT, San Diego, New England, Cleveland, San Fran etc.
