As a QB, you should have a "play-action" stat. The higher the stat, the longer the camera follows the runner and the defense takes longer to realize that it's a pass.
Sorry, messed up on the previous reply. Here's some ideas:
1. Have a pregame, halftime, and postgame show to see how teams are doing throughout the league including interviews, halftime shows on the field, intro music with fireworks and mascots on the field (create a mascot would be great), ect.
2. Maybe add a few new penalties like unsportsman-like conduct, multiple penalties, sleeping during practice (lol!).
3. More indepth with franchise and draft mode. I like the idea of rookies getting their jerseys during the draft selection.
4. Have a Hall Of Fame induction after a player retires based on their stats. That's something I wished that they could have done a few years ago.
5. More stats like QB/WR tandem (Manning/Harrison a very good example), TD's against a certain team after so many games/years, ect.
6. More record breakers like QB/WR tandem, QB rating, Rushing/Passing TD in single season, Most WR TD in single seasons, Most def. TD's, sacks, ect.
I'd also like to do that fake hand off from the shotgun that Vick and Vince Young do with the option to either hand off, keep it and run, or throw a pass.
i think that a new feature for 2008 should be create a face mask because the rb robots in 07(the visors dont fit without a gap) are different from the rb robots in the nfl, also, they dont have some of the facemasks in 07 that they have in the nfl. Another create-a-feature should be create a glove and create a shoe. there should be a pregame a halftime and post game report like nfl total access on location. and pregame and post game interviews. some thing for the hall of fame would be the option to controll your character off the feild and in the locker room during practice and during game. during game if your a qb, when the defense is on the field you have the choice to play as the defense like regular madden or controll your player on the side line and talk to wr's and linemen about blocking assignments.
I think there should be an open rating system. The player ratings are getting old. In real life any player can step up any year. Not in Madden. When your bad your bad. So, make players with no ratings so that way pretty much every player has a shot to be great just like real life. I started Damon Huard on the game 12 Td's 25 Int's. In real life he is doing pretty good this year.
so on the new madden i think that madden should go more in depth with creat a player mode.Like have it where u can chose from many diffrent shoes and chose diffrent colors of the shoes to,and have a bigger selection in gloves and also make thoes which ever color u want,and pretty much just have anything in create a player mode that all nfl players wear today.And have it so u can make wut ever face and body u want like in fight night that would be nice.
The simple fact is that he is a over rated piece of **** that can't cover. He makes bad reads on routes and lacks the ability to recover when he is beaten.
For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.

Yea, no kidding lol...Honestly since the next gen systems came out i just haven't had the same madden experience like i had on my ps2!...i would be satisfied if at the very least what i say was implemented.

I wish I had the money for a Xbox 360 or PS3, because I know what you mean. Ever since they came out, Madden just doesn't quinch my thirst for football like it used to, but playing my friends for money is still fun. I just think the dynasty modes are too repetative.
Maybe we should start a thread and get REAL ideas to add to the game, then have someone compile it all and send it to the producers at EA.

Some things i hope madden 08 has to offer is better refereeing, more realistic injuries, and better Franchise. One thing i hope madden 08 has that they have never had before was a halftime show like in ESPN 2k5, like someone else said Chris Berman went through all the scores and highlights. What i mean by better refereeing is like when you coach the play so times the call is really obvious but the referees say the totally opposite thing. What i mean by more realistic injuries is like when you plant a really big hit in the QB they should get hurt a little more. One big thing that they have to change is the Franchise because on Xbox 360 you can't change the time and you cant do fantasy drafts. Overall i think Madden 08 will be good
i know wat you mean I slam a QB a million times and he doesnt get injured ever and I hate it when I'm playing my brother and there is a call where my bro caust a pass in the endzone but clearly had 1 foot in and I challenged and the refs called it complete I mean come on its not that hard to see. I wish there are fantasy drafts on 08 cuz I hate picking a team since I always dont like a couple people on that team and on fantasy I can pick every1 I want. I've never played ESPN 2k5 but I hope they make the halftime show in 08.

That will never happen. I think EA and the NFL have a agreement that big hits have no factor on injuries. Might on fumbles and dropped passes and what not. But not injuries.

They need a whole game. Madden has gotten to the point where they don't need to add much to it, because it's fan base is so great, that they know people will buy it anyways. Im sure if they took out Franchise mode, people would still buy it.
--Halftime shows would be a good addition. Maybe like the crew from NFL Total Access
--An actual tv show, where you can hear updates from around the league, and what teams signed who.
--More realism in the game. What I mean by that is, when you get hit in the knee by a helmet, and then someone else comes up and hits you up high, your knee should be injured, at least for a single play.

i hope they bring the thing back from madden 06 i think it was when in a franchise while ur playing it shows scores of games. I need to know that stuff like if the team i'm fighting for in the division or have the halftime report from ESPN 2k5
