Why would you get banned? Those suggestions will never find thier way into a MADDEN game.. but they could very well find thier way into a game without an NFL liscense so you should be looking for boards supporting those games and posting the wishlist there.

Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!

those suggestions were just a joke.. as if any suggestions posted here are actually ever going to reach the madden team, the sites are just made to make angry madden fans happier by letting them think theres actually going to be something done about what they say. madden doesnt care about us. they make money, they're happy. thats why EA games suck. the end.
well, madden isnt that bad. i guess i just had a bad day with it then. all madden seems to have the most glitches though. im still hopeful that it will get better. im glad they improved the running game. i dont really need to say anything though because you know as well as i if not better how bad it was. the biggest deal for me is the AI though. mostly in-game. and a lot of the game seems too easy, though i guess i could solve that by adjusting the AI sliders, which i have done. i need to remind myself that theres a lot of people out there who wont play the game if they dont always do extremely well.
hitman - hire a hitman to assassinate key players of the other team
I think out of all of those 'ideas', I like that one the most

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
I havn't checked out any of the new additions to this years Madden, but I'm assuming these ideas won't be on the game due to the possible programming complexity, but they definately are reasonable wishes.
WishList
1. Franchise mode should offer expansion teams. You should be able to create a team and have it added to the league. Then you could also have the expansion draft where you secure the player you want to keep and leave available players to the draft. Also an expansion team or two should enter the league over a 30 year span, you know that the NFL will have another team or two in the next thirty years.
2. To change teams in Franchise mode you should be able to sell your team, and buy another if you have enough money. Not just if you fail the first time, or not just by clicking cpu to human on the clicker. If you fail, you should have to find a way to come up with the money to change teams. And if you want you should be able to sell your team at any time and buy a new one, but only be able to change teams if you have enough funds.
3. More in depth and freedom in Superstar mode. It was a cool addition to the game, but it needs some more depth and freedom of choices if it is going to succeed.
I really like the idea of being able to add an expansion team, I have wanted Madden to put that feature in for a long time, it was a lot of fun when they first did it whent the Texans came into the league. Superstar mode does need some work I'm sure it will get better over time the Hall of Fame mode in 2007 is looking pretty good.
Beyond the obvious improvments with the gameplay...
I would like to change coaches before the season liek you use to, like it'd be nice for Herm Edwards to coach the Raiders and not the Cheifs this year.
I would like to create a coach and just use him in a season...
I would like to have superstar mode get better when it comes to how your abilites are made and how you get a team...
I would like to have a Expansion team like explained above...

And done.
Some Great Great Ideas.
I would like instead of you getting to move a team of your choice, they should have it where if your team has a losing record 3 years in a row then you become eligible to move. The only catch is cities would have to contact you with an offer and stadium, and then you choose whether you take their offfer to move, or stay put.
I love the buying and selling of teams though thats a very good idea.
They really need to get more in depth with the franchise mode though. Need to let you trade draft picks from more than just the current year. Id also like to see the computer initiate trades more often. A good halftime show and post game recap would be cool too. The only thing I liked about the ESPN football was Berman and company doing weekly recaps and game highlights and such.
Im not sure if it was ESPN or not, but after you played your game for the week and it was simming the other games, it let you watch the last drive of about 2 or 3 games that were close to see how it ended and I thought that was a great feature, especially if it was teams in your division and you are in a fight to make the playoffs.
I think that the best idea has to be the expansion teams they should add one every 15 or so years just to liven things up. It could also stand to give you more things to do off the field with your superstars like little mini-games that affect your player and his fan base.
I also really like the idea of having an expansion team imported into a Franchise Mode every now and then just to liven things up a bit. I especially agree with HJ's third paragraph, on the whole trading of next years draft pick's the halftime shows, post game shows, etc. I'd also like to see the ability to add maybe 6-7 players or so to your Practice Squad, where as the season went on you could do drills with these players to help them increase in their ratings..
I love the idea of being able to have a practice squad. What about being able to scout international leagues. I would love to find the next Kurt Warner or be able to send troubled players across seas.
I never thought of the practice squad idea I like it. It would be cool to if you could cut your roster down to 53 players as well I think that might be fun it would make preseason a lot better.
I think what he meant is that there is always a cap on who you sign. I could be wrong here, but is seems that way.

sorry... the amount of players you can sign. Like when you are signing rookies and the error comes up "your roster is full" I hate that.

Thats true.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is that when teams start out training camp they have 60 something players I think and they have certain dates where they must cut there rosters down to a certain number of players and by the end of training camp they have to have there rosters down to 53 players. I'm not to sure if any of that made any sense.

I think in next years Superstar Mode they should change the way the game simulates when your player isn't in. You can choose to have the CPU simulate the game when your player isn't in, but its way to slow. They should change it so the speed of the simulation is a lot faster, instead of having it 2x faster, it could be 4x, or 8x, or as fast as you like. Or better yet, once your team punts the ball (if your player is on offense) it could be instant and have a drive summary of how the other team did. Then you would be right back into the action. I for one have a running back as my superstar, and once my team punts the ball I have to wait like 2-3 minutes for my team to get the ball back so I can play again. It really ruins the fun factor of the mode.
Also the camera mode they give you is a good idea, but its really frustrating. For example with my halfback I got a handoff but I fumbled. I got up and was trying to find the guy with ball so I could tackle him but the camera angle was facing the wrong way. I tried using the R3 stick to turn the camera around but all that happened was he unleashing hit sticks at the air. I was the last possible guy to tackle the ball carrier and I couldn't see where he even was and all I could do was unleash hard hits on the air lol.
Last thing is that the way they determine your attributes is weird. It must be random or something because with my runningback, I couldn't figure out how to do the 40 yard dash and I was getting times like 5.42. I got really bad times like that over and over but somehow my speed was a 99!! How is that possible? Most average runningbacks get times like 4.4 and I got a second slower than that, and managed to get a 99 speed. Same thing with the bench press.. it has to be random. I did 35+ reps every time with my Superstar, and yet my strength was a 78. I don't know how that happens speaking most offensive lineman with 90 strength do less reps then that, and I somehow manage to get a 78. Makes no sense to me.

Two good points, the camera angle does need to change somehow it can be frustrating, also I was watching one of my friends to the 40 yard dash he also got really slow times for RB and got a high speed rating, I think his strength rating turned out just about right though.
hey everybody! I'm new to the boards, but i have a TON of great ideas for Madden 2008.
First of all, these suggestions are for the extra features part of the game. Things to make other modes deeper, or to just add a little somethin to a mode.
Franchise mode- When it gets closer to the draft, have a more creative way of lookin at future rookies. Also, when you actually draft a player, they should make it to where your player walks out on stage and holds up his team's jersey. Basically, what i'm saying is that the Madden crestors NEED to make the draft just like TV!
Another big problem is the way that you just draft players, go to preseason, play 4 games, and that's it. Like another guy said in an earlier post, they need to actually start with an 80 player roster and have to eventually cut players that aren't impressive, takin money space, or causin problems. Also, i liked the idea about the mini-camps. You DO need to be able to use more than just ONE player on each drill.
I also really liked the feature in the NBA games made by EA, where when a player retires, depending on how good he was, you would retire his jersey. I think in Madden, they should give you a list of YOUR retiring players and decide whether or not, you want to retire their jerseys and/or numbers. Also, there could be an added feature, where you could look at them whenever you want and have like a display case for them, just a suggestion.
There are way more features that i've thought of, but i can't remember all of them.
NOW for gameplay changes that the creators of Madden REALLY need to look at! Small stuff in Madden games have bothered me for a while. Things like players being tackled just by getting "ran into," CPU punters making HORRIBLE kicks that give you field position that is way to easy to score a touchdown, and my dad fusses EVERY YEAR about Madden putting all the stats in the game, and even some non-sense stats (i.e. big hits) but NEVER have the Kicker's points. There really does need to be a record kept for how many points a kicker scores during a game and kept track of ALL year. Kickers may not be the most important players but all football enthusiasts will agree that everybody needs to be recognized.
The tackles this year are good, but still not great. Players still fall over just by being ran into to. 9/10 times, real players get bumped, but never just fall over. They get bumped, and keep going. FIX THIS!
The punting...I've noticed the past couple of years in Madden games, if you have the opposing team pinned back deep into their territory, and no matter whether you rush the punter or not, he still ends up making a HORRIBLE kick. I was playin Madden 2007 last night, and i had the CPU on their 12 yard line and they punted it out of bounds at their own 47. Punters are NOT that bad. Madden's game testers haven't mentioned this to anybody yet and i think it's just lack of brains that they haven't noticed it yet.
There will be more posts from me, talking about more features needing to be added, as i think of them. Until then, keep posting ideas so that maybe Madden creators will catch on and finally learn where to make improvements depending on where their most faithful FANS want them.
- Madden Reformer
Does anyone know how to actually contact the Madden creators and maybe send all of our ideas straight to the source, instead of posting on here, and HOPING that they see the suggestions??
