How do coaches affect players?

I know that certain aspects of the coach give the players an attributes boost. Like Bill Belichick gives his entire team an AWR boost of 6 points. Does anyone know exactly what boosts the attributes? Is it MOTivation, ETHics, OFFense, DEFense or what? I scrolled thru the various coaches that impacted their players attributes and I couldn't figure out what it was that was giving them the boost. Is is just the Head Coach or can the Coordinators give the players a boost, too?

All I know is, when I lost Jeff Fisher in the Sim League...Things went downhill for me. And me team hadnt changed...

I thought they made little or no difference, but now a part of me believes they do...Especially when you are not controlling the players.
