I think it would be cool for QBs or linemen/linebackers moving from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense or vice versa. Systems don't really apply to some players, like O-linemen, CBs, etc. I think it would work best for QBs, if they lost a few awareness points when moving to a new system. And you could get the points back by completing a few practices successfully in the first few weeks in the new system. Players should also lose awareness when changing position. If a D-linemen gets moved to OLD in a 3-4, he should definitely lose some awareness points and have to earn them back.
By the way, why can't you switch a D-linemen to OLB on the game? You can move an OLB to D-lineman, but you can't do it the other way around. That's dumb. YOu see D-linemen move to OLB more often than you see OLBs make the move to D-lineman. I tried to move Jason Taylor to OLB since the 'phins are going to run a 3-4, but they would only let me switch him to MLB. Stupid game.
