ok in a previouse thread i said that superstar mode should be made into its own game. In this thread i am goin to talk about the Franchise mode. I enjoy the franchise mode and that is mostly what i do. But i think it is too plain. I think you should be able to allocate players to the europe league or be able to have a lot of players (say 75?) in the preseason and have to slwoly make cuts to A 52 man roster. I also think the combine should be more in depth. i dont think you should just select them...oh and the names should be auto generated when they come out of college or somthin because "oh that fs#9 made a great interception" thats all for now....love to hear your thoughts- :big_worsh :stickdanc
The players do have names when they come out of college, unless you are talking about when you import a draft class from NCAA Football I have never done that but if thats what you talking about then yeah generated names would be good to have. I also like your idea of making the roster cuts I was talking about that with a friend of mine before I found out about this site.
I like the suggestions, it is pretty ridiculous when I import a draft class from NCAA, that I have to try and figure out the differences between 3 LT #65....Shouldnt be that hard to generate some names for those fools....
*NOTE FROM CASH*- there is a name generator in NCAA...
Improvements to Franchise Mode:
Inclusion of NFL Europe
Some way to figure out how much cap room you will have the following year
Visual changes to your stadium as a result of winning, like banners and flags
Gameplay Improvement:
There has to be a way to improve the instant replay...its ridiculous when the computer makes a call, for example, a receiver who is clearly out of bounds yet they call it a catch...even when you replay it after the call it was clear the guy was out of bounds...very frustrating
The Punt Block thing is ridiculous in head to head matchup...no matter if you put a punt block on, your opponent can time it and run right around you and block every punt...absurd
The punt return blocking...seriously, in the NFL people do block for punts, no one just stands there and faces the returner
hmm, even if your too lazy to write there right names in there, you can just Auto Generate there names in NCAA... John Smith is a lot better than HB#5. or LE#9

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
And if you won't do either, You will not get names we go through this every year EA isn't just being LAZY not putting names in for the college players, they can't... Its against NCAA rules.

What they really need to change in franchise mode is this... I said it in another thread but has anyone else notices how the overall ratings of teams except your own eventually revert to mediocrity after 10 years or so? I mean every team is weak with ratings of 85 being good! Where is the computer management and development? I want to see the computer do a whole lot better in the offseason building their teams and putting them through training camp so that I can actually have some competition after multiple years of franchise mode. I usually switch teams every year at that point just to try to infuse some competition. What do you think?
hey, we have eyes... we read it in the other thread too.
Dunno, I never get bored enough to go to year 10

Ya they need to improve the computer teams alittle. They have like 20 + million to spend and get a bunch of no bodys. Plus when they draft i dont like it when they draft a QB with the first overall pick one year and 2 years later they will get another QB knowing when the one they got is good enough. I think they should like let there QB learn and then after like say 5 years then they can draft anohter QB.
