Should Superstar stay or go?

In this thread i ask the question, "In your opinion, should the superstar mode be continued in maddden 07"?

I personally like the idea but felt it lacked the depth to keep you entrested. It was a little repetive to me and lacked the extra features could keep me playing past a few seasons.

I don't want the mode to be removed as long as they add some depth to the game. I have many suggestions on how this can improve but i would like to hear what you have to say.

So should the mode stay and what would you do to improve it?

it should stay only if they can make it better.

superstar mode was horrible. for people with short attention spans like me, there were too many practices and too many things to do in the offseason. just let me control one guy during a few practices and things are kosher.

Yeah...I rarely played it. But when I was making a TE I think I had an olympic sprinter for a dad and some intelligent mum who was also athletic and came out with like 72 speed...So that put me off it. I wanted a speedy TE, would have been fun. But yeah, they need to fix it, put more features, and make it generally improved to be worth keeping. If they dont change much and keep it, no one will play it..

Will it? Yeah.. unfortunately they waste time on it instead of other things.. Everyone wanted them to copy Sega, and now they are...

Yeah, I agree, time would be better spent on general gameplay, added features and franchise mode...

I also agree with that. Last years fanchise mode made no progress from 2005. We are still left with emails and newspapers, the same old training camp games, and wrost of all Tony Brunio!

I still like the idea of the superstar mode though, and i think over time it can become great.
