offseason ideas
There are a few thing that i think should definitely be adressed this year.
1) NFL free agency should begin before the draft begins. by doing this it allows players to know exactly what backup options they have if there is no suitable player in the draft
2) i dont think it wud be a bad idea to have a Hall of Fame introduction ceremony every year in the offseason.
3) this may be a stretch but i think that there should be something similar to an MVP presentation curing the offseason. it could be formatted like the heisman trophy presentation. highlight clips from the season could be shown. certain plays throughout the season should be labeled as top plays of the year.
4) i think that the draft is wayyyyyy to vague. i think that a certain amount of points should be alotted to scout players at each position. for example, as the franchise owner, you should have the option of spending monmey on quality scouts. i think that these should be choices of scouts available. a more prestigious scout should have more points available to scout players. these should be QB scouts, RB scouts, WR scouts, TE scouts, OL scouts, DL scouts, LB scouts, DB scouts, and special teams scouts. if i choose to higher a highly respected WR scout and a low level OL scout, i should be allowed more points to scout WR than OL's. the WR scout could finmd college scouts and more info. the OL scout may only find 40 times and bench presses and a few notes. the would help determine exactly whcih players are better than others.
QB SCOUTS:
1. JAY LENON RATING: 96 $1.1 M/YEAR >>>96 QB SCOUTING PTS.
2. ANDRE FRY RATING: 85 $.65 M/YEAR >>>85 QB SCOUTING PTS.
3. WES HOBBS RATING: 90 $.9 M/YEAR >>>90 QB SCOUTING PTS.
this would allow us to more thoroughly examine prospects from postions that we need more than others
