1. Madden needs a hall of fame like on NBA Live:
something where you can display retired jerseys (have the option to retire jerseys).
something that has a record book to show real records, show your teams records, and show if you have broken those records.
and it needs to have a trophy case to show many championships you have won, what awards your player have won.
3. rookie scouting needs to improve as well:
have NFL combine where you can test the draft class (run drills with players).
have notes of the players strong points available.
Madden needs to add better rookie QB's every QB i draft even the top 5 draft choice ones never turn out to be a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, not ever QB needs to be that good but atleast put some of those in there.
yeah u would think that madden would know that so many people simulate seasons so those qbs from the draft need to develop.....i mean they do if u play every game and thats cool but everyone also sims
I think that the madden 2007 game should be like in real lif. Before the players get drafted they go through a series of test to see were there good at the position or not.
Man I agree. The combine aspect game would be great. Too many times I have scouted a guy that runs a 4.29 in the 40 then when I draft him his speed is 88.
40 times should mean something. Eliminate excelleration and just go with the 40 times as a true reading.
How about adding a wonderlic score to determine the awareness. And speaking of awareness, that should actually mean something too. You can't determine who is a 90 and who is a 75.
make the game more realistic. make vick run down the field with the ball on his left hand not like a running back. have the fade pass at the end zone. have where you can chage the players accesories during franchise mode to suit best for the game. make the weather play a role. have the crowd change the momentum of the game like in ncaa. goaline leap. player stretching for the cone. measure chain. and does madden have to talk on every game? have different tackles for different position, you don't see a db making a huge it on a running back. make a wide start at q. have where players get wheeled off the field. coach throwing stuff. fans getting into the game. bring back the cheer leaders. halftime shows. have the player talk before heading into the locker rooms. have madden say merry christmas,happy new yr.
overall madden is a sweet game. but its not customizable as we all want it to be. I think we should be able to start a wide a qb or a db at wide. I think as far as gameplay they still need to work on facets of the game that are just not realistic. Its not fair to either player when you can select a defense that totally dominates and is in the backfield before the qb steps back once. or when you punt and the idiot your playing against blocks it with the selecting two players on the end and jumps the snap and they cpu never catches the offsides.
but the worst is the DEFENSIVE holding after five yards. Its really easy to select a linebacker and just run him into a wide reciever and not let him go. its only pass interference if the ball is in the air and going to that wide rece. thats crap they really need to tweak the rules and penalty calling.

i think the superstar mode needs to be made a lot better it should seem like you are an actual nfl player. you should have more options like going out to clubs, buy things for your house, more interviews, special events. Kinda like the sims i guess but it would make the game alot more interesting and EA should be able to do that with the PS3 when it comes out due to the new blue light technology. I think they should have the actual draft too they should have players walking to the front and taking their teams jersey. they should have stuff like sports center on there too to show top plays and discus news in the nfl. that was one think i liked about the 2k games.
the tackles when you hit a qb with anyone, are just ridiculous, some times u barely tap him and who ever tackled him looks like he just fell.. that really gets me annoyed.
oh and, the ai needs to be smart all pro is really bad at times, and the teams on punt returns need to block the team that kicked it off, it really annoys me having to fair catch 99% of the time
They should have a mode when ur in single player u can change to a tight end or WR and run ur own route. This is general. They need to make this more specific

in 2007 they really need pre game show half time and post game show like they have in espn nfl 2k5 but if u dont want to watch it u can just skip it.

i think there needs to be a nfl combine thing. also there needs to be a legends team that you can play against like nfl street. there needs to be an place were you can practice your speed or other drills without pads and stuff, just like if you were to be geting ready for the combine. there needs to be a weght room were the players can lift and you can watch them lift or you can make them lift.
Hey wassup everybody... anyways i think that madden needs alot more things in between games.. and during games but not game play.. perhaps.. show highlight of the game so far at half time and at the end of the game.. show highlights of what happened.. or have tailgate parties b4 the games.. when it says fan apperciation day.. u should be able 2 participate in it. Winning the superbowl should be exciting.. not just sum msg that pops up on the screen.. YOU HAVE JUST WON THE SUPERBOWL.. thats lame..
Maddens whole presentation sucks. They need more animations, sideline/one hand catches, with more than one running style. It would be nice to se Vick run on his tippy toes and Jamal Lewis take choppy steps because evernybody dont run the same. Fix the whole physics part of the game. Im tired of seeing defenses fast-foward to the ball. And Stadium Music would help Madden alot even though PS2 dont have custom soundtracks. Most of all give better options for the ball carier, because sometimes I need more than three different moves to get my yards.
About the draft. I agree that it would be fun to practice with players before the draft to get a feel for what they'll be like. I also think that they should add more steals late in the draft. I mean I can't remember the last time I got an impact player after the second round in the draft. Any late draft picks just never seem to get good enough to play.
Somthing they need to fix is your ability to block punts, I am now able to block about 1/3 of my opponents punts and i believe thats unfair. There is no way to stop it, all u have to do it take your fastest guy put him at the end of the line and then pull him to the other side so he will have no one blocking him. All you need to get down is the timing. Even if they do max protect it is still very easy to get around the person and block the kick
*NOTE* Yes EA constantly has to battle peopel who use exploits, LIKE YOU... maybe a solution is to not allow you to move any players before the snap on a punt or fg.

yeah i think adding the NFL Europe would be great...also the combine thing would be an amazing addition as well as the post and pregame shows....those would e the biggest things i see with the NFLE and having more steals in late rounds of the draft being the biggest of all...
i want more in between games i liked the idea of players being selected in to the hall of fame and retired jerseys would be cool to and players being able to jump over piles on the goalline and more hits and bigger hitstick hits seriously they all look the same to me
The draft should be like that i hope that the creaters of madden read these because if they put the stuff in it like the way you can test the players and the whole Europe league, They'll sell and abot 3/4 of the people in the u.s. will get madden

Why doesn't EA just come out with a Madden Memory Card that can hold 15-20MB and is just for Madden files? You know Madden fanatics (myself included) would be willing to pay extra for that if they actually loaded the game with sweet new features. I'd like to see an improved combine like what was mentioned already, which would make for an improved NFL Draft. I want to know about studs coming out of college BEFORE I'm forced to re-sign my players, because I want to know what may be available in the draft. I think every once in a while, a ridiculous talent should come out of college with a lot of hype around him. Any thoughts?
Geeze all these ideas seem to be great..and would deffinitly make madden alot better. Not every one creates thier own play books and plays, but it would be good to actaulyl see some options when it comes to creating plays. Because there are trick plays in the playboks, such as flea flicker, or hb pass...but what if you want to do a certain Qb Move, or a special option like this. The create a play screen limits to handing it of, dropping back, o just a straight qb sneak. There are no other options past that. This play creating hasnt changed much over the years at all.

All I hear about the top guys coming out of college is 3-5 lines of bogus scouting reports, which say the same thing for a lot of other players. I like the off-season the best because that's when you really have a chance to manage your team and determine where you're trying to go in the future, but it could definitely use some work. I love the idea of improving the combine, but how about letting me see the up-and-coming rookie class BEFORE I'm forced to re-sign my players. It's frustrating to re-sign one of your top guys to a long-term contract and have a stud prospect come out of college at that same position who you could have grabbed.
I say off the field you should be able to see your player. He should lose money after moving/buying an mansion. The money needs to have some kind of factor in this game. You should have multiple car to buy an really drive around your city. Do something thats really going to want every one buy this game.
heres what I think 07 needs the most...
It would be much better if YOU the player, could choose when a player retires. I am really tired of players retiring when they are only 32 or 33 years old. It will not be a problem now but in 03 and 04 they had Jerry and Emmitt retiring. so infact I had to recreate them. I think it would be alot better if you could have the option of making they player retire, or at least extend the ages....
Another thing 07 needs desperately is NFL Europe! I think you should at least be able to import the players from NFL europe teams into your franchise. The whole NFL europe in madden serves virtually no purpose what so ever.
Lastly heres what I think 07 needs. A feature related to NHL 03 where you could put a created players name in and there Spec's would already be in the game. Practice Squad guys or even NFLE guys that were not on a specific team, but instead of having to get there SPEC's online or whatever EA could just put them in there database...I think this would be a little more convenient.
