my biggest wish is Power Ranking and better media coverage

id love to be able to see power rankings, or hear what the media says about my team and see it have a negative or positive effect

also, id like to see a better probowl, its fun to be selected, but then you dont even play in it because its meaningless, maybe throw in some little drills like they do in real life

KEEP THE CREATE-A-PLAYER feature too

ummm....

id also like to see more CPU initiated trades, more disgruntled players leave my team, a more realistic salary cap, more realistic trades (like i cant trade 34 yeard old, who had a terrible injury the year before or whatever, at level 97 for a first round pick)

more rumours from magazines and internet, a better draft, and for the salary cap to change year to year like it really does

last wish is to see better coaching staff changes, i dont want to be able to sign vermeil as O-cordinator, dungy as d-cord, fox as ST and holmgren at HC

oh and lastly, realistic names
not to sound offensive by any means, but i dont want jamal anderson to be white and stuff, i just dont know to many white jamal's (i seriously mean no offense by that)

also, id like to see practice squads and see them improve

like start them off at level 45 or lower and make them improve by the week so when a player goes down, i can upgrade them to the active roster and see their stats either improve or stay the same

and how about another offseason section about signing undrafted rookies?? thatd be nice, and more holdouts by the rooks

another thing is some more realistic injuries, like someone mentioned before, more injuries that are like questionable or probable

if they theyregoing to keep the superstar thing or whatever (which i personally dont like), id like to be able to control signing players and the draft

also, maybe make draft predictions, pre-draft contract negotiations, big name trades during the draft, maybe have analysts respond to draft choices

and make the money that you make during the season more important, i never care about the budget at the end

also, the stadium upgrades that you can make, id like to actually notice them like a bigger screen

and if i make a custom uniform, id like to be able to put the official logo on it, because you cant if you didnt know

umm id also like to see better touchdown celebrations (but i guess we cant now since the league pretty much banned them), and A MUCH IMPROVED game intro. like starting line-ups and college

better commentary would be much appreciated and maybe even some pregame predictions and analysis for every game that week, i know they already have them but theyre very random and dont make sense (like im going 4-0 so far with the browns and baltimore is 2-2 and it says "the ravens should beat the browns who are underachieving thus far into the season" or something like that)

I think there should be alot of new features like:
-better hit stick and truck stick graphics

-a chance to custimize ur own endzone celebrations and endzone dives like deshaun foster!

-new team color helmet visors and tape

-There should be halftime shows and new madden lines

-Better stadium graphics

-spots illistrated mags, news paper, internet,ect..

-like on NCAA football there should be clips and highlights when on the main menu of old NFL ledgens.

-The madden soundtrack should have real songs that would pump u upp for a game.

I think Madden should make the 99 rating on players a little more rare than they have it...for example...I play NBA Live and you rarely see a player rated a 99 on the game if at all(I believe Kobe is a 97 and arguably the best player in the NBA)...but on Madden there are several players at that rating...which kinda cheapens the 99 rating....

But what i really wanted to address was the rating of players in certain schemes...each player should have a rating based on what type of system he's in...for example: Peerless Price was a dominate player with the Bills and was on the rise...but when he went to the Falcons...he never turned into the player that they expected...this is because he was considered a great #2 receiver...but not a #1 receiver like a Steve Smith...or even a CB in a cover 2 system being good in that system, but not in a system where the CB is left on an island to man-up on a WR....

So basically they should have players that make other players better...like Peyton Manning causing Stokely to have a better rating...or a Safety making a young corner better...where he knows the Safety has his back...or a O-line or a FB making a RB better....this would make having certain players as captains have more of an impact(like Ray Lewis getting the most out of his teammates)...it would also give the player styles more meaning...like cover corner or possession receiver or speed back or even a balanced player being able to succeed in several schemes....

This would help you decide on who to get instead of just signing a team full of 90+players on the free-agency list and the team automatically improves and meshes together...b/c that doesn't always work getting the best players...and it would also make players like T.O. who some consider a distraction to have a negative impact on the team as well....

I also believe that Madden gives players too many good attributes....only a few players should have agility at 99 (Dante Hall...Steve Smith) or not even 99, but close....and only a few players should have 99 awareness or close to it...like I said before....NBA Live might be too stingy with the attributes...but somewhere in the middle...to make the importance of awareness more of a factor as opposed to speed...if you have a RB w/speed in the high 90's...you don't want a good LB that has 72 speed to be playing on the other side....you want LB's w/80+ speed...when this isn't always the case in the NFL...reaction and awareness should allow that player to be more of a ball hawk....

How Awareness should affect each position:

-WR's should be smarter w/their routes and getting open and getting off the ball when jammed...they should also block for you

-TE's are the same way in route running and getting open and also 2nd level blocking and using their body to shield the defender and be a big target...along with helping the OL with chip blocking before they run a route or block a defender...

-DB's should be able to stay in their coverage(ex:cover 2/letting people get outside of them is a crime) and pursuit angles should be better...a player w/horrible awareness should sometimes forget his coverage/unless practiced alot...or just puts themselves in bad positions to stop the WR or get Interference penalties....One more thing with the DB's is when they are double-teaming a WR...not to let the WR get behind them and just have 2 people chasing the WR like what normally happens when you click on double-team

-LB's should be able to shed blocks and recognize plays...react quicker to the ball and know how to tackle players to prevent them from getting the extra yards....like a 3rd and short...they won't tackle the ball carrier forward for a 1st down or more yards

-DL should require double teams if they are good enough....and intentionally clog up a whole that a RB might be coming thru...DE's should be able to contain fast QB's and RB's if that's the defensive scheme...and also bump TE's

-OL should be able to call out blitzes or point to the guy that might blitz...and be able to switch off like the CPU does on run and pass blocks...and when a DE is running off the edge...for them not to let him run by...but to stick his hands out and punch the DE and make his path wider...and not cut a DL on a pass play...and also to double team when a player needs help and they don't have to block anybody....

-RB should be able to read and call out blitzes as well....(and maybe have icons on the defensive players so the RB can know who to block if he comes)...but a RB's awareness should affect his avoiding big hits when being tackled and big hits should affect a player's wear and tear for each week....but the RB should also put himself in position on pass routes to be the most effective...like a screen(where he lines up away from the defender and not setting up next to him)

-QB is pretty much taken care of with the vision

MADDEN 06 for 360 was probably the worst since 2001. It had no depth what so ever, and didnt have any features.
BETTER TACKLES- All the tackles on madden for so long have been one hits. Never in the NFL do you see one player tackle, unless maybe in the open field. If you put more realistic tackles, like draggings, one armed tackles, and gang tackles, it would be GREAT.
MADDEN CAMP- You need the madden camp on the 360. Since the madden camp started, thats how i would improve my game before competing online. This helps the game get more in depth.
PRO BOWL- Use the events held at the pro bowl!! All of the skill challenges!! This would put a completely new prespective on getting your players in the pro bowl!
WORKOUTS- Have real, full, gym workouts. Maybe even if it was just squats, bench press, and power cleans, and have real visual results on the players! Let this help his rating.
Have highlights after games like on ESPN'S NHL 2K6. This is a great feature. At the end of the year there could be a highlight show of plays of the year. And also have an in depth JACKED UP highlights.
I know two powerful corps. as yourself (ESPN AND EA) can definately take many of these wishes, all of these on the forums are great. thanks alot,

i think they should make the WR w/ better catches and let the good WR's go up and get the ball when u precision pass the ball high and also one hand catches

also have better jukes and moves so the back can get a way and the WR can get off jammed coverages
