I think with Madden 07, something should be done to make tackling more realistic, i do agree. The tackling just seems too fake. I also like the truck stick on offense, but in previous games (i think in madden 05 and the ncaa games) you used to be able to guide tacklers on offense with the R analog. I miss that. That added a touch of realism to the games, but they took it away for the truck stick. it might be nice to add something like the QB vision but for something other than the QB position. Perhaps use RB's or WR's with something like this, or maybe even for players on defense. Free agency sucks in the madden games because FA signing is after the draft period. It should be before drafting. And training camp, I don't like how you are limited to one player per drill. During real training camps, it's not just one person that tries to make themselves better as players. If they allow more players to be used in a single drill, maybe they should raise the difficulty that way no one is just "stacking" their team. Make it so you actually have to work for the attribute points. I think they should improve playbooks also. They're too basic. Various camera angles rather than just the cams from behind the O-line would make the presentation better. Better yet, create a camera angle for the defense so that the cam is facing the opposing offense and the defense has their backs to you. That might be nice also. and as far as the cover boy goes, it should be Shaun Alexander, LT, or Marvin Harrison.
Not sure if we will see or hear from you again... you have the same points everyone else has said... I personally LIKED the Guide blocking, but sometimes your blocker were straight up retarded and tried to block a safety, instead of the linebacker right in front of them.
I can understand LT and Alexander, but if any WR should get the cover, it has to be Smitty, but I doubt it will the WR aspect that gets improved upon, it'll probably be the Running Game.

I'm not one of "those people" who post once. I came here and saw that everyone makes good points about the next game. The crap that they do with these games drives me crazy--thinking that they are SO much more realistic and all that stuff makes me believe that there is so much more room for improvement. I just said those things so people know i agree with what needs done for the next release. and hopefully some people like my other ideas. i just played ESPN 2K5 last night and the gameplay is so much better. In the madden games, only one defensive person can sack a QB but in 2K5 more than one D-back can sack and they actually get credited with half sacks instead of just whole sacks. Madden creaters need to take some notes from the ESPN games.
A FULL coaching staff.........seriously!! Coaching is what makes good teams great. (I.E.the washington redskins of the late 90's a TON of talent but no coaching!!!) I want to see more unemployeed coaches, and entire coaching staff, please!! Russ Grimm and Gregg Williams need to be included
How about making the graphics like madden 94 or Super Tecmo bowl and making the game fun again? Realism is too much work.. Put on pads go to the gym and hit something if you want real. The madden games aren't much fun for me anymore.. Sorry

That is right Madden has the better graphics and everything but ESPN 2K5 has way better gameplay by far ESPN is just way more realistic in how you run the ball,break taclks, and tackling it's self with the so I totally agree with sf49ers. Ea should take a look at ESPN and take notes Madden Should also have like the plays of week and pre game matchups and who to look out for like ESPN did
I think that in the next release of madden the creators should make it so that if you have the max amount of players on a team and you lose a player to an injury and put him on I.R. you can get another player in his place. This is something that I have been complaning about for two years now. Also there are some players that are not updated at the beginning of the season and some players stick around even though they have been released by the team they play for. Who is going to be on the madden cover?
Hey i love madden as much as the next guy, but man i think it needs lots of improvment. I mean out of all the money they make off of this game your telling me this game can't be alittle more realistic? They ramdom weather sytem sucks. There is no halftime show. Where's the cheerlearders? I mean all the things that make Watching or playing football exciting are all missing from the games. I would love to see introductions, and way better touchdown celebrations. I mean the players have no real emotions. I would love to see players get pump up and make better plays and maybe when they feel down it start to show up in there preformance. I just don't get that monday night excitement when i play Madden football. I don't really want ot say it because i love madden football, but i think it needs to be said. Madden foot ball is just boring. I'd rather play grand theft auto. I wpould really like to see improvments thanks.

i think Hines Ward is on the cover, I was at the mall last month and at the EB games they had pre-ordering for '07 and in the window the box had Hines on it.
As for the game, I agree that the tackling should be more realistic, also it'd be cool to have some sort of goal line running back leap instead of just awkwardly maneuvering around the O-line into the end zone.
