I think you should have a better chance to block a field goal with one of your front line man than your DB's on the end of the line, its really stupid, i have never blocked a field goal in Madden, on punt returns and kick returns you should have a better blocking system, you should be able to choose where you want you blockers to block like to make a kickreturn play in the create a play screen

I think the punt return needs to be fixed so u can return, or at least have a chance.. im so tired of fair catching every punt, or fumbleing it if i do try to return it which is highly impossible...

There needs to be more defencive things.. more plays, more things you can do.

i agree with you but for the draft it should look more real like when they get drafted it should show them walking up with the team hat and holding up the jersey with the owner (i cant spell his name) come out and announce the pick.

things i would like for madden 07 to have

1. instead of a truck stick on the right analog you should have a juke stick. Make the cpu look stupid by jukin them out of thier shoes. The jukin in the game is pathetic. Put a truck stick as a button that is unused most of the time.

2. You should be able to go and watch college football highlights. Put in the NCAA football into madden so you can know how the players are doing.

3. During rookie scouting in the offseason you should let you go to a combine to see if a running back can blow by a tackler or run right over him, etc.

4. When at the goal line let a player jump right over the line or when he is let someone come up and hit him hard and stop him at the line.

5 An NFL Europe would be a great idea. you could send players over there to get them better or if there is a star there you can sign a deal to bring him over to the US

6. Receivers should be able to make one handed catches sideline catchs or watever or do great celebrations in the endzone.

7. Show clips of the game and great plays. Also show clips from other games to c how your competition is playing.

8. Simple. Just make players and plays look more realistic. Also make the moves more realistic.

9. Have a coaching mode. You can scout your opponent and if you dont you will have more trouble with them. Also set up the right defense correctly if you blitz a safty or a linebacker you sack the QB almost everytime.

10. Have madden say more things when talking. Also have sideline reports during the game. If a player gets hurt go down to the locker room and see an X-ray or see them getting more water cause there dehydrated.

11. Have players talking on the sideline or have them have microphones in there helmet so you can hear the big hits or here the grutting on the line.

how about if you catch a ball in the air near the side line and are pushed out, it can be ruled a catch and that you were pushed out of bounds.

maybe you could charge like $20 a season to update and renew players stats and attributes. just put it online and let the common folk like us update a couple of times during the season. i hate that carson palmer had a superstar year and he is only an 84 overall. by week 8 he should have been at least a 90. with online we could save the new roster to our memory card and enjoy playing with the most updated game in history.

I think there should be alot of things added to madden like:

-new team color helmet visors like blue, red, or a darker black.

-the players on the sidelines should have different #'s and be more realistic

-you should be able to create your own endzone celebration:the worm, primetime, robot, cpr, ect.

-better logos:when you create a team

-keep the hit stick and truck stick i love it, but just have new graphics for them.


-new endzone dives like deshaun foster's superbowl dive.

-The mini camp should have some new teams and new drills.

-the main menu should be like ncaa2006: showing highlights of old players

i think that u should be able to live as a player and go to practices and have a better house for superstar mode and u should be able to drive there

Lets see where should i start

1. make some adjustments to the recievers new catches, some kind of other feature i cant really think of a featue but something like the hitstick was for the runningback and vision for quarterback

2. some pre game halftime and post game shows would be so cool..something like the espn shows but make them better

3. please fix the punt return....i cant return a punt have to fair catch every time

4. put in create a celebration so you can make your own endzone celebration...i know every one would use it

5. i would like to see some helicopter hits put some of those in and also make it where when the line is all jammed together you can try to jump over them for the td

6. make some adjustments to the juking, dont take the truck stick off though...make it where you can like switch the truck stick to a juke stick when using a more of a speedy back and truck stick for big ones

7. make some new side line catches i love them and i think most other ppl do

8. improve the graphics of the crowd and players on the bench...you can do this easily

well i played ncaa 06 a couple days ago and it was a lot better then madden 06. they should make madden 07 more like ncaa 06, where u can like feel the crowd pulse on ur controller and where crowd noise actually affects gameplay and how well ur players complete the plays . and they should make superstar mode more exitng they should have u doin more things between games cuz doin practices all the time is boring.

I wish that they would actually have names, correct numbers and somewhat accurate skills for all of the classic teams. A tournament of the classic teams would be a neat features to get more madden cards as well.

Also- who really uses madden cards anyway, they need something a little more interesting to gain by playing games.

You should have the Arena Football Game be exported so you can put them in the draft as well as the NCAA Football.

You should make players more realistic and not have such bad touchdown dances/celebrations.

You should be able to go to the college and play as a college player at there pro day.

The receivers should be able to catch one handed and crazy catches

I think Madden should be Better

I think they should do that to and also come out the tunnel like they do at the Super Bowl on the game but come out one at time when their name is called but only the star players. Another thing is make the players on the side lines look more real and like show them going over plays and talking to coachs about plays and stuff like that. One last thing is on Super Star Mode make it like real life like have them go to club, or have them buy houses, or even (take a step further) let them go up stairs and down stairs in their house and thats all i got

My thoughts on ncaa 06 is that madden is way better....the ball seems to be way too bouncy...i dont like the gameplay....the best thing about ncaa is the crowd and i dont think madden should have it either.......college is more about the crowd nfl isnt that is that

I think that they should add a running cone, so all the vick users need to actually start thinking before they draw you. Also it would give each madden player their own style of run.

have the game be worth playing for. if ur a division wildcard i don't want the same enterance to the game, have a different atmostsphere. have madden tell u that this is the one don't blow it. have the coaches blowing up like when the game is close. have like a playmaker like in the last two minutes. have more accesories for the players. make the superbowl more of a close game. the superbowl should be more crazy. have the crowd get into the game. have a halftime performance or something, just make the game more realistic. have a style a player could perform like nba live. for examples, tackles, how they run. idk but i don't like how vick runs in the game his special style should be like being aware and juke ppl out without u having too. so it buys u time to look for a reciever of take off. farve jukes like crazy too

1. I want to use my created playbook in franchise mode
2. A created team should not have to replace an old team and its players in franchise mode
3. You should be able to pick what pick you want in fantasy drafts
4. No more Tony Bruno!
5. Make the draft for superstar mode and franchise like the actual draft, have some coverage and a scene where the number 1 or few after picks are slected and crowd and player reactions with commentary.
6. You should be allowed to pick your parents traits in superstar mode
7. On punts, have people actually block for you

Thank you for listening to my opinion and I hope some of my ideas can be put into the game. I'm sure many people agree with some of my views.

ESPN 2K5 was a better football game by far. Damn Madden for buying the rights. Make all of the game play better. the running is horrible. the hit and truck stick are ok, but everything is pretty unrealistic. Priest Holmes is not that good (breaks nine tackles). the challenging is RIDICULOUS!! when a receiver runs 5 yards out of bounds and catches it is terrible. Make the challenging like 2K5, give some more options!!! Multi-player (same team) online is a joke. for a fantasy roster, dont just give 4 random teams, give the person the right to pick from the entire player pool. BRING BACK ESPN 2K!!!!!

it would be nice if you could keep the team logo when you move a team. for example the bengals have a awsome helmet but if you move the team to another city you cant use the stripes on the helmet or on the uniform. there should be alot more uniform styles added to the game along with better logos

-The commentating needs to be better
-Jukes need to be better, they're terrible, spins need to be better too cause they're too slow, make the jukes controlled by the right analog stick like in NCAA so that other things can be added for the R1 and L1
-add stretching out for the goal line and diving over the Oline in goal line and all, situations
-if someones on you you should be able to press the spin button to shake them off
or press the stiff arm button to pull them off
-add the tapping X thing like in NCAA where the runner can push through people
-for the hit stick the hitter usually comes up and the runner sort of hits him like a wall and falls back, make more variety here. For instance tacklers can hit the runner in the stomach and drive him backwards into the ground
-on the sideline there needs to be more people. They're aren't 20 guys on a football team you look on the sideline in Madden 06 and they's like 10 guys
there need to be 40 guys standing on the sideline jumping up and down when there's a score there needs to be all the different coaches camara guys trainers, press, sound guys holding satillite things, injured players in street cloths, the kicker needs to be kicking into a net if they're driving for a game winning OT FG.
-The crowd need to be part of the game like in NCAA. They need to be loud and colorful and loud. In pittsburg they need the terrible towels in NE they need to be throwing snow in the air, in NY Fireman ED needs to be given a contract in the next game so he can be shown leading the J-E-T-S JEts jets jets!, Kansas city needs to be loud and the fans should be wearing red.
not just the create a fans should have props. In LAmbou there should be a lot of cheese heads and a lot of fans everywhere should be wearing jerseys.
-the pregame segment could be better, instead of showing the same 3 segments of the reciever doing sprints show the quarterback and the recievers running plays in sweatpants and stuff, like show them padless going through the offense before the game. Like before every game Peyton Manning has his recievers run routes before they get they're pads on
thats the sort of thing i'm talking about
-as the pregame goes on have madden talk about the players and how they did in previous games. If curtis martin just got put on IR, talk about the signifigance of him not getting 11 straight 1,000 yard season
- if they're are any milestones the commentators should talk about them.
if Shaun alexander needs one TD to set the season record they should talk about it. If Terrel oWens has 99 career tDs they should talk about him getting 100. They should talk about matchups in the game. Talk about Champ Bailey Covering Steve Smith, talk about a 5'10 CB going against randy moss. talk about a RB passing yard marks for the season like 1,500 1,800 2,000, or career for a RB like Curtis Martin passing 14,000 or 15,000.
-talk about past performances; say if LT was held to 17 yards the week before by the struggling eagles
if a running back had an inspired 200 yd game talk about it
if they lost a heartbreaker the week before talk about them wanting to come back strong
if a team that is in 1st place and has a good record, but hasn't been challenged yet or has not played as good as a 1st place team should play against last place teams talk about them needing to prove themselves, ie: the Seahawks who had the easiest scheduale ever last year: ESPN talked about it on TV all season how they weren't as good as they're record.
in division games talk about the result of the last game played, or game played in the season before, like in the playoffs, talk about Pittsburg wanting to get payback on NE
talk about trade talks, standings, injuries, realeases, elections to the pro bowl
If Ben Rothlisberger hurt his finger and is wearing a glove talk about it. These are the kind of things they always talked about on TV
talk about a players future, if a player like LT is 2 or 3 thousand yards from becoming the all time rusher, late in they're career talk about how many more years they'll need to play to reach that mark and discuss if they're going to stick around and try to get it or not

There must be a glitch or something cause when the RB's go on flat patterns towards the sidelines and up they tend not to cut off the ball when it's thrown to them, they catch it out of bounds for no reason there's no one around them.

Make the superbowl and Playoffs more exciting add more pregame, in game and postgame segments, show the lights and teams comming onto the field as one or individually make it an option for either,
When they win the celebrations are terrible, people need to be rushing onto the field hugging each other jumping on each other going nuts
they need to be wearing Superbowl Champion hats and shirts, the ceremony where the MVP is put on the stand on the field with other players the coach and the owners should be shown.

be able to fire coaches mid season and hire new ones any time, make coaches able to go from NCAA to Madden, include position specific coaches that become head coaches after working with Bilichick and Parcells. Make good coaches legitmately improve teams.

Make overall team toughness effect how they play in important games, bad weather, important plays

improve the superstar mode so you can know a players rating earlier in the process.

In the draft display who won what awards like the Heisman, display they're career NCAA stats and season stats and records in Playoff gamess and as a starter.

Dont make the ratings terrible, make them logical, QBs always have either good power or accuracy and the other sucks, make them both decent.

Make the awareness lower to make the rating lower.
for example for a player like Reggie Bush who has everything it takes to make it in the nfl the only things you can really make bad is his strength, tackle breaking and awareness, and blocking and stuff, don't mess up all the speed stuff
give players drafted bad awareness ratings and leave all the important things good, cause believe it or not players in the NCAA are as fast as players in the NFL, if vince young is 94 speed in NCAA he should stay 94 speed in MAdden, the same with acceleration and agility and strenght etc.

also make speed improvable during the offseason, just a little bit,
because players can get better during the offseason and improve, an old play who might be slipping may come back and get faster to compete with a younger player who was drafted or traded for.


w/e thats a lot i wrote i hope EA gets it right and after they make the game they should play it a lot for hours and days before they release it cause there are so many dumb annoying things that piss me off while playing the game that i wonder whether the makers ever played it or not.

You should see yourself doing the press conferences instead of a little screen telling you the questions and what to say i think thats still good but you should see yourself after the game with reporters coming up to you in the locker room or you sitting down at the table with all the cameras flashing in your face. Also you should be able to make good friend in the indrustry to build chemistry on your team like when Mcnabb and TO were good friends it helped allot before they hated eachother. Well thats about it everything else seems really good i still LOVE the game.

i think all in all the game is great. but there are some things i would change for sure.
1:it happened in a franchise i was doing where in 2007 in the draft the new york giants had the #1 pick overall and they selected a QB. they just got eli a few seasons ago at the #1 overall.i dont like stupid drafting like that. or the chargers have LT and they select a HB in the top 5. why?
2: i like the QB vision but i dont really like the precision passing AT ALL!
in madden 06 my interceptions have gone way up.i throw at least 2 or 3 a game.
3: definitely have a highlight show at the end of the week like in espn football only better.
4:have the WR's make cool one handed catches. like that brandon lloyd who used to play for the 49ers. more types of catches. like sideline catches and if the ball is only slightly overthrown they make a big diving play and the crowd erupts into cheering!
5: the speed of throwing. even when i throw a bullet it still takes long to get to my receiver giving the defense time to pick it off.
6: Nervous rookie QB's. I'm a 49er fan and i saw how nervous alex smith was when he started playing.maybe they slighty overthrow the ball a bit more or something. when i play a franchise with the niners i easily get alex to the probowl with 3500 yards.That doesnt happen!
7: trades, you saw the niners trade rattay for a 7th round pick things like that. Also things like terrel owens where if a player is not gettin on with the team he is traded.
thats all i can think of i will be back for more.

Online Play!

There Needs To Be A Challenge Online. It's Been Online Over Five Years And There Has Been No Talk Of Being Able To Challange Online.

I think that they should put a draft of any CFL players or University players and be able to create yourself a team with those players.....
