If you've ever imported a draft class from NCAA football, you've probably noticed that there are nowhere near enough players in the draft. By the time you reach the 4th round, there are no QBs or WRs left AT ALL. In a real draft, there are always a bunch of undrafted rookies after the draft is complete. On the game, there are usually only like 10 players left over when there should be more like 100 players left over. Draft classes need a lot more players.
Also, the CPU needs to draft better. THey don't draft according to the "Team Needs" section. I'm not really sure what the CPU does in the draft. For instance, both the Packers and the Redskins drafted a QB in the first round after drafting a QB in the first round last year. I would really like to see the CPU make better decisions during the draft, maybe occasionally some teams would just make bad decisions. But for the most part, the CPU needs to draft smarter.

Ok as for not enough players in the draft. I agree, but you have to understand that it is a storage issue not a game issue. You can only put so much information on a DVD and most games are made to the limitations of a memory card because not every system and everyone has a hard drive to store saved information on.
As for the CPU draft choices. That is in the game. Some where under the coach is drafting priorities. These unfortunatly do not change unless you go in and change them yourself. So if you want realism in the other teams draft choices you will have to go in and change those sliders before each draft.

One thing a friend of mine does to help out with this a bit is to import every other season so that there is plenty added to the FA market every other season
Yeah, with the 360 there should be a lot more storage capacity so they should be able to import more players. I heard the 360 loses a few things, though. You can't challenge plays on it. I don't know why they took that out of the game. Also, they took away the defensive hot routes which I used a lot. I think it sucks that they actually lost anything from this version to the next version, they shouldn't be doing anything but adding features. On the 360 the game will keep track of stats for like 30 seasons which is a great addition. But I think they need to add more to the game than that and improved graphics.

Ok let me explain the reason for the cut backs in the game.
I read an interview with the lead 360 developer. In it he says that the game designers are not using the consoles full power.
The reason for this is that they have a dead line to meet. They need to have thier games ready when the 360 goes on sale. They are complaining that they didnt get thier development 360s soon enough to make the games fully utilize the 360s full potential.
Basically it comes down to this. The game developers have been designing what they could on computers. When they got thier 360s to finish they are complaining that they dont have enough time to figure everything out and still make the release dates.
But from what I hear this happens with every new console and it takes a while for game developers to figure out how to use the consoles to get the most from thier games.
Most likely by the time Madden 07 is ready they will have most of it figured out. But for now, unless you want them to put the release of the 360 on hold until game developers get thier act together this is what you are going to get with all the new games that release when the 360 does.
