i think u should take off salary capin franchise mode. sure, it wouldn't be fair but u can only like 56 people so there's always gonna be some good people. i want salary cap off so i can make a whole team of good rookies and if i did that then there would be all those other good people. i really liked '03 because i could do all of those features. i know its not fair but i like to have a super power team. in other words i like to have fun. and isn't the game supposed to be fun. losing isn't very fun. and also one more thing that really Ps me Off is 84 CBs speed cannot catch randy moss or marvin harrison but they are always there knocking it down. anyways hope i sparked some ideas
I think they should have more useless crap in Madden 2007.
Not only should they have SUPERSTAR MODE, they should have 3RD STRINGER MODE, where a working class mediocre talent is ignored by the press, and is shown between weeks trying to pay his bills. Also, FALLEN STAR MODE, where players are randomly arrested for crimes, and we follow the trial via more cut screens with lots of space-eating video clips.
Next, they should take the CREATE-A-FAN idea even further, and have CREATE-A-TAILGATE-PARTY, where several fans get drunk, heckle passing fans of the other team, and eventually get into a fistfight and are arrested for public urination. Or, you could have a pop-up menu of food and beverage choices, and decide based on your team's performance how drunk you get. Have a Blood-Alcohol-Level Meter.
Two Words: MADDEN CARDS. More words: ANIMATED MADDEN CARDS, with stats and interesting facts about the player's favorite band and which Olsen twin he'd rather date. And have more. Have cards for EVERY player, AND the coaches (every position), and individual cheerleaders, and special cards for adding a sign in the farthest corner of your stadium that say things like, "I'm Taking Up Space For No Reason."
And I want pre-game shows. LONG pre-games shows. I want to watch 30 minutes of video before I'm allowed to play the game. Don't give me any of this 20 second commentary that I can skip. Come on, EA, make the game REALLY unplayable. Have Tony Bruno on all the time. Interview players that talk about the team that they're no longer on. For 3 hours. Have him muse on the big dump he took that morning.
Also, hire 50-100 actors to do the voices and image-modelling for draftee interviews. I want them to go on for at least 15 minutes each, with menus for pre-set questions, with Rorschach tests and so on. Make sure that it has NO BEARING WHATSOEVER on the players' stats; I just want to watch more video. Expand scouting to include comments about lots of things that don't tell you the guy has a STA of 6. Talk about his commitment to the Star Wars franchise or something. Make draft scouting as long as possible, without serving any real function. Also, give me more WRs and CBs with 40 times of 4.23 that end up with SPDs of 83. I love that. Don't fix it.
Give me more CREATE-A-TEAM logos I'll never use. Like a picture of Pauly Shore, or a unicorn and a rainbow. Also, never tell me what the team name actually is. I like to guess whether or not Al and John will say the name supplied. Whatever you do, don't ever change the CREATE-A-TEAM function so that it could serve any use. Just make it bigger.
I want commercials. Give me military recruiting ads, and beer ads, and lots of real companies trying to sell me things. Just like the real world. Plus, you can generate more money that way. And isn't that the point? You can say that it's the most realistic Madden ever! Don't spare us the annoyance of real life, just because it's a video game.
Get rid of the actual games that I'm forced to play. I just want to watch T.V. Send me a DVD with animated highlights, commercials, lots of cut-scenes of fans/faces/cameramen, and cartoon cheerleaders shaking their cartoon moneymakers to un-listen-able music. And make the crowd louder. I don't know what function that serves, but it sounds like it could take up more space for no reason.
LAST, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: Never fix anything, no matter how clunky, bad, or useless it is. Keep the MODIFY UNIFORM for at least 10 more years. Never fix play action, blocking punts/kicks, or return blocking. Never make half-hearted, slapdash features like moving your team worth it. And one last suggestion: ANNOUNCER MODE - The CPU plays the game, and you just sit there and worship it.
i rarely get sacks because the qb always manages to get it off as incomplete, so i get about 50 qb pressures per game, but theres not stat recording for qb pressures, only for sacks and tackles. and pressure passes that go incomplete never get picked off
you know what, EA has so much money, madden is such a huge game so why cant you guys just hire some reasonably good programmers? when you test your game dont you see all the dumb mistakes all over the place and try to fix them? and please stop adding totally dumb ideas to the game like superstar. the dumb agent wont stop congratulating me about 1st string even though ive been 1st the entire time.
and please get rid of the tony bruno show. i hate him. its the worst ever. and the commentating needs to be fixed. it sucks. like when madden says something that needs 3 different recordings to be mixed and they're all done at seperate times so his tones keep switching around. its horrible. also, will he ever quit saying the same stuff every week? like, "you can go week after week and not see ANYTHING like this and then blah blah blah" every single week.
also, the playbook deal needs to be dramatically improved. no playbooks in franchise? then whats the point in making one? also, whats the point in making one if you cant do any action plays.

that was the funniest thing i've ever heard. but i think there could be one more thing.
REF MODE - You are the ref, and you get to make all the calls. And you can drive home after the game and set up defense systems in your house when people try and murder you. And you can trip players mid-play. You can do WHATEVER you want. Make it so you can also go into 1st person view and sabotage players.
Please no one else say that the game needs to improve Punt return blocking and blocking punts. Everyone said it a million times already. And, by the way, punts VERY rarely get blocked anyway. Every body suggests the same thing: better draft, start free agency earlier, add route-running and while all these suggestions are good and I definitely agree with them, how about some new ideas?
I would like to see a WR/ QB chemistry. If you have a WR and you complete 70+ receptions to him for 3 consecutive seasons, then the WR's awareness should increase when playing with that QB. Although, it's not a huge factor in the game, it would realistically reflect those few QB/WR tandems like Rice and Yound or Manning and Harrison.

Heres what the fools at ea need to do i love madden and its just some suggestions.
in superstar mode to get old players you need to break some type of records, you break the single season rushing record you get so and so's rookie card on your profile and then you can dick around with them in exhibition games. also some in season drills like in ncaa have a choice on what you can do depending on your position rb drills kick punt return instead of having practices because i get board of practices and if you do ****ty then youget nothing. and on franchise mode they need to make you the coach. you make the position battle desisions theres been plenty of times where i dont pay attention in the preseason(get to that next) and i get a 75 starting over my 89 at corner. for preseason to make it fun get guys to try out for your team. like in the nfl the coach will let anyone try out if there a football player so fools will try out for your team and you can cut them or you can keep them and but them on a practice squad or keep them on the 53 man roster.
in between weeks instead of the gay *** newspaper that says the same thing everyweek have a nice NFL week in review. show who sucked and who was studly. players get better more often then every 4 to five weeks. and in game definetly have better drops im sick of my guys dropping 100% catchable balls. have them dive and miss hit off one hand and hit the ground **** like that. more custumizable create players. if i make a fullback that weighs 240 and some **** *** 170 tackles me first hit when i have 99 breaktackle. dont happen. make special traits for create a players like power back pocket qb bump corner i know it kindof already does that but it does it for you they need to make it so your power fullback will drive to get 5 yards and your speed half back will make fools just miss more often. im sick of always getting tackled first hit and even when i do use the truck stick the time it takes gets me tackled by the closest guys anyways. for powerbacks have a drive button instead of a juke. gang tackles would be sick too or atleast more of them and piles and whatnot. before i finish one more thing it was mentioned before but when i buy a expensive *** tv for my stadium i wanna see that large tv showing what tv's show at games. and same with the other improvements i want to see them in my stadium its pointless to buy an english pub when i cant see my fans getting drunk there and if i lower my price of beer to $1 i wanna see drunken fools i know they wont do that but it would be cool
