LOL yeah I saw that article on ESPN.com...who in their right mind would admit to something like that? I mean, not only is it bad for their "public image" (not that Randy has ever cared about that), but what about the kids that look up to him? Randy, Randy, Randy...
But back to the topic...its really too early to say, but LT and Shaun Alexander are long overdue. I would say Manning or Brady but I don't see another QB on next year's cover.
It'll be EA's "specialty" they have next year. It was Vick for the playmaker, Lewis for the upped Defense, and now McNabb for the QB vision. I say it should be a RB for a running type theme they should have.
It won't be another defensive guy, and it damn sure won't be Brian Dawkins as him and McNabb are on the same team, come on now. How much sense would that make to have 2 Eagles in back to back years....BIAS? Yeah, ever since Owens went there, I've hated them!!
Did anyone watch the Sentencing of the BTK? Did you hear what Doloris' family said about that guy...That's how I feel about Owens....ok I am ranting now..back to subject.....LT or Shaun, I totally Agree....or maybe even Priest if he stays healthy this year...or maybe even Tatum, can I get a hell yeah for Tatum?!?!?!?!
Everyone needs to remember the Next Madden will be a Totally new game on the Next Gens.

I think they should put peyton manning on there... he kinda got robbed on that one with the cover, breaking the record and all. Everyone's raving about this QB vision, and Peyton has the biggest vision cone in the game? B S

I look at it this way..In MOST of the vids for Madden 06..There was the eagles vs some one...even the next gen one..so it was kind of obvious they was probley going to pick Mcnabb...SOOOO.... Since all the 'newer' Next Gen Vids have the seahawks and Mainly Sean Alexander...Then i think he will be the next cover boy for madden..
Shaun is overdue like you said. Will be him. Or maybe LT, but my money is on Shaun.

LMAO Chaos. yeah when you read them and pick it off =)
I definitely think Manning got snubbed out of the cover, but then again maybe he declined being on the cover in fear of the curse. Perhaps if he did the E. James would of left and ruined the running game up there making it alittle harder.

Was thinking about it more and don't see how anyone has better QB Vision than Manning. I mean he reads defenses like books. He reads them as if they were hallmark cards and then discards them.

You are talking real life right? Cause in game on All Madden we dont have much problems forcing him to make bad throws by bringing pressure and ruffing him up a bit.
But then even in real life I have seen him throw picks right to guys like they were his recievers.

But there is no denying he has the best vision and ability to get it there out of any QB in the game today imo...

here's wat i think they might pick if it's a :
QB- Big Ben
RB- Steven Jackson
WR- Chad Johnson
TE- Bubba Franks
Defense Line- Jason Taylor
LB- Jonathan Vilma
DB- John Lynch
Ben hasn't proven anything...neither has Jackson...Johnson is good but it can't be him when guys like Moss/Harrison/T.O. haven't been on the cover yet...you picked Franks solely because he wen't to Miami, if its a TE which it won't be its definitley Gates/Gonzo...Taylor is old and on the decline, so is Lynch...I would love to see Vilma on the cover but I don't think its gonna happen.
First things first. Moss will never be on the cover, to bad an image. T.O. is in the same boat. Plus he was on the cover of another game. This goes for Manning also. He was on another football game cover. As far as Alexander goes, seems really iffy to me. He doesn't seem like a logical choice to me. The top runners in the league to me are LT, and Priest Holmes. I would think they would get on the cover before Shawn. Just my opinion.
Jason may be old in yoru opinion but still dominates that DL better that most others.
Big Ben hasn't proven anything. DEFINIITELY overrated. Steven Jackson hasn't proven a think. I would give LT the nod on RB. TE. Gates, or Witten their the future, Gonzo is passing time. Chad is an okay WR but I think Andre Johnson will emerge as one of the top 5 WR's soon and has more of a shot, but Harrison should be atop the list if it were WR.
Defense. a CB like McAlister would be nice.

I deff agree with Dlove's opinion. LT should be on the cover because.. well, he's LT! hes proved himself, everyone seems to like him, he has a long name, (good for chris berman to have fun with) and hes a good runner and a great receiver. he's the number one RB in pretty much all the football analysis magz and websites in the country. give it to him!

I didn't pick Bubba Franks b/c he went to Miami. I jus threw out sum suggestions
I'm putting in vote now, well again, for WR Andre Johnson in a year or two if they ever refeature a WR on the cover. Thats a grown man playing right there.
