Andre Johnson is NOT the future of WR's. Larry Fitgerald is. In the next 5 years, Larry WILL be the best, no questions asked. But for next year's cover, i think CB, Champ Bailey or Safety Tony Polamula. Thats what i think anyway.
And another thing, is it that hard for people to spell these day??!!
i never plat anything but madden,and the 2nd year in a row starting pro bowl QB Peyton Manning should be on the front or Juliaus peppers should be on the front.I would buy the game just beacause the cover was so cool! and on the back i think maybe Jake Plummer or steve smith

Fitzgerald Is the proper spelling.
Polamalu is the proper spelling.
And I think days would work better than day.
Now I will be the first to admit that I cant spell. I make sure to use spell check with e-mail and word. Unfortunatly the board does not have a spell check before you post.
But if I were going to bag on people for spelling, I would make sure the post I did it in didnt have any mis-spelled words in it.

I agree with most people by saying it'll be a running back; someone on the likes of LT or Priest, but personally I think it'll Alexander. Though, it all depends what new features they're putting on this year. ie: if it's the year of the WR, dont expect a running back.

Just to throw this out there... There is a spell check the board uses a spell checker you can find at the top right of the text box above the smileys. It looks like this:
It's a small download you throw on your computer that works with IE so it'll work anywhere, this is just a function that was thrown up. Just in case anyone missed it.
I can think of more than a few people who should have taken advantage of this. Now... I'm a horrible speller myself, so it's not like it's demanded here or anything... But a poster going out of their way to be annoying by miss spelled words is... In fact... Annoying.

Hines ward or Joey porter get the cover in 07 no doubt. Please put them on the cover they are all time greats. Besides Hines did win Super Bowl Xl MVP.

I mean i think he's earned it and if you say that he's not playing anymore, madden 2007 is going off of the 2006 season so yes he will be in the game and i'm sorry but anyone who takes 2 major pay cuts and takes a diminished role all to help the team win deserves it! how about chad johnson or champ bailey, i kno it wouldnt happen, but rod smith in his long career should have gotten on one cover for sum football game, no one really knows about em, but if u look at his stats for his career hes a great reciever, but chad or champ def. should be deserving of a cover shot by now
