For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.

Too many other RB's better that Cadillac still. Ronnie Brown isn't haven't a great season yet. I dont' know why you would put Santana Moss anywhere. He is overrated. Antrel Rolle, I like him alot, but he's a rookie man. You got so many CB like McAlister, Surtain, Smoot, Woodson (when he wants to play) that I feel are still better than him.

first i think moss only said that to get some attention on him because everybody was all over t.o. about his holdout.
second i think moss does deserve a cover cuz he is soooooooo good, like whenever i play football and i or somebody else makes a ridiculous catch we're always like you "Mossed" it, im almost positive people say that everywhere else too.
and third he looks so gangster in a raider jersey so when its on the shelves it will be appealing to the eye so ppl will buy it more.
but this is jus my opinion also i wouldnt mine seeing my boy priest on a cover or green or gonzalez or dante hall but thats cuz it is my team. and i dont think they ever had a cb on a cover i think deangelo hall has a breaout year one time thats worthy of a cover cuz he's a gangster too.

Doesn't matter why he said it, fact is he told the world that he's a pothead. Now, I understand that the majority of the NFL probably smokes weed anyway, but none of them are dumb or attention hungry enough to admit it.

You and you're friends are free to say whatever they want, but I'm almost positive that nobody else says they "Mossed" it when they make a nice catch.

DeAngelo is waaaaaaay down on the list of people deserving to be on the cover...there's not enough room to put everyone that has a breakout year on the cover.

I'd go with Peyton Manning or LT, but I have a feeling it'll be defensively this next time around. They gave Vick the moves, Lewis the hit stick to combat it, and now McNabb the vision. I think they're either going to zero in on the pass rush, or the pass coverage.
So, Peppers it is. Unless he breaks his neck or something this season, in which case it'd be Freeney. Or, if they go pass coverage, maybe even Roy Williams, to combat the new QB vision .. but only if Dallas returns to the Superbowl to become America's Team. Whatever.
But Ed Reed and Dawkins are out, thanks to Lewis and McNabb already winding up on there. Shaun Alexander? I think LT would take the cover any day of the week over him, just due to their teams. The Chargers own the AFC -- Seattle is hit or miss.
